Interesting article

With all due respect, what’s interesting about this? Did you read something new?
It’s the same thing, if we were winning and playing regularly in the playoffs we’d keep more recruits than we loose.

I'd love to see a detailed analysis of the bust-transfer-just ok player ratio of kids who leave South Florida for supposed greener pastures. We hear non stop about the Jeudys of the world, but if I had to guess a ton more who leave the state don't pan out than excel, we just forget about them when they're gone and fade from sight.

Wow, this made my morning. I love to listen and read about what a group of young numbnuts spout off about. Who in the name of *** doesn’t know these things. This sums it up, “ I only have an offer from FIU, I think I should have more”WTF, why do you think that’s is? Us recruiting harder is a given, y’all working harder to improve and grow is the answer. Dont want to be harsh, especially this early, but STFU and get to work, just sayin’🙌🏿

I learned something from this article so I'll take the knowledge I did get and leave it at that. When kids talk most times adults don't listen. Recruit them harder, Win, and change the Culture up a little bit. Okay got it.

IMO, biggest takeaway from that article: kids want to go away. Doesn't matter who or how they are recruited at home, some kids just want new experiences. And look at the kids who said that in the article: the best players.

For me, I get wanting to lump EVERY SoFla athlete in the same prima donna corner, but what I hear is that the some feel the Florida schools don't recruit as hard and that winning matters.

Not anything earth-shattering but it does speak to the poor recruiting strategy of Richt and others

Well they can't say Miami aint recruiting now. As far as winning goes, how does that happen when the talent won't come? Too many of these kids don't fancy building it. If it ain't already built or there's no bags they're not interested.

Can't blame some of these kids who are looking for new experiences in new places...Not everyone wants to hang out where they were born forever....

When I was that age, I couldn't wait to bail Miami....

Dropped out of high school when I was 16....took my GED at Lindsey Hopkins....Grabbed my quiver of surfboards and as many controlled substances as I could conceal...copped a ride with a buddy who had a scholarship to play Defensive Tackle at San Diego State....and moved to Mission Beach in San Diego....

Not every one of these kids is wired the same...difficult to paint them with the same brush....Though most aren't quite the juvenile delinquent that I was....

Start landing oos 5 stars and booking hotels in Charlotte on a yearly basis and local kids will camp out at Greentree begging for offers to stay home instead of using them as a springboard. No talking of not enough love either. Imagine being a local high school kid back in the day and watching UM go after Armstead all the way in Texas. No hurt feelings back then right?

Just to add to the Jaylan Knighton comments, I read an update off the Clemson board and this is what was said in short form:

— Per a source, the top three schools for four-star running back Jaylan Knighton of Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High are Clemson, Oregon, and Alabama.

Florida State is involved but not as heavily as the 'Noles wish to be.

Knighton wants to leave the state.

Alabama isn't recruiting him all that hard, and Clemson is continuing to make sure he does his due diligence in the recruiting process. Clemson isn't going to accept a commitment from Knighton until both sides get to know each other better.

Some fine *** Brazilians have taken over Mission Beach.

What bothers me and which is actually funny is that THEY WANNA LEAVE ANYWAY so tbh were in a lose lose situation so its always gonna be difficult to get recruits because they're picky on what they want from the Florida schools yet alone Miami show attention you still get burned in the end show no love and they still leave you cant win in my opinion
