Time for Horton to get his shine on. I'm tired of everyone always wanting a portal player when we have talent. People keep wanting guys with experience and never giving the guys we recruited an opportunity. You need to give the young players an opportunity to gain experience. Thankfully, they will have it in the bowl game.

Adding more talent is never a bad thing. If Horton is deserving, he will start. A little competition will bring out the best in everyone.

Why can't he play outside receiver opposite George?

You can play him anywhere. I just don’t see him as a good outside receiver for 50/50 balls. I’d rather see trader/chance at the spot.

Guessing these big-time recruits, the cream of the crop, lock in multi-year NIL deals and then if they don't produce, it doesn't p$y to portal out. No one's willing to match the deal they negotiated coming out of HS.
