Indoor facility

"Helping" is the operative word in this situation. The IPF is meant to be a a supplement or an additive to what we are already doing on the recruiting trail.

This man gets it. It’s merely a cherry on top.

For instance, not sure if anyone has had the pleasure to visit Northwestern University, but they have absolutely great facilities. Honestly, it could be argued they now have the nicest facilities of any team. Is that helping with recruiting?

What helps with recruiting is a competent, winning program, one that competes and is in discussions of vying for CFP spots. That helps with recruiting. Shiny buildings are the cherries on top, only

If Richt salvages this class (Top 25), has same type season next year but steps down after, I'll consider his time here as a success. IPF was huge. No amount of sucking will diminish that. Frustrating part is all this is fixable. Rookie mistakes from a veteran HC.

Only the true Canes can appreciate the IPF. Most of these kids and their families just wanna hang out on South Beach. And let's be real, most major programs have indoor facilities nowadays.

It is a good addition and should help. Kids are going to be expecting this in high school soon. Teams across Georgia are currently building IPFs.
Highschool teams in Georgia had those before we did lol

So much for it helping in recruiting.
Was it really supposed to? It basically just gets us to the bare minimum as I believe we were one of the last P5 schools not to have one. The new wave is the football only funhouses that Clemson has and FSU is now building. That is what's really needed re: facilities.

IPF is undefeated in recruiting. It has been the magic elixir.

I was clearly wrong when I cautioned all the guys who were sure it was our facilities that were holding us back. If we can add a water slide or a chocolate fountain we might crack the top 30.

IPF eliminated any negativity we've dealt with for the longest recruiting wise. how much positivity is brings is unknown but if it rules out any negative recruiting than that alone is enough
Doesn't eliminate negativity in terms of hiring co-DCs that have never called a game

It eliminates nothing that really matters. It’s a nice toy for a good HC and recruiter. In the cold hands of a corpse it’s useless, as proven this year.

I dunno. You ever partake in the splendor of the Chocolate Waterfall at Golden Corral? The ensuing meningitis was just a small price to pay for that culinary experience of a lifetime.

The shrimp waterfall also is really delicious

We dont have an IPF we have a f*cking safety net for our incompetent HC who payed a small fee (for him) to be impervious to the AD/board/fans as he destroys what is left of the program...

I'm sorry, im sorry, shouldn't rant... I'm sure our 240 pound 2 star OL will enjoy it..

Also given our bowl practice schedule, is it really an IPF if we don't actually practice anything in it???
