Coaches know what to look for. I mean kids are getting offered for 7 on 7 flag. If that is the case then a hl film of them actually playing football will suffice. Watson -- 3,914 passing 37 TD's 15 INT's 529 rushing 6 TD's

Jackson-- 3,390 passing 30 TD's 9 INT's 1,538 rushing 21 TD's

Jackson had more total yards, more TD's and less INT's and IMO was more important to Louisville than Watson is to Clemson.

Yeah but look at who they played. Louisville's OOC was Charlotte, Marshall, Houston (L), and Kentucky (L), and their crossovers were Duke (1-7 ACC) and Virginia (1-7 ACC). Clemson's OOC was Auburn (current #14 ), Troy, SC State, and South Carolina, and crossovers were Pitt (5-3 ACC), and Ga Tech (4-4 ACC). Oh yeah, and Clemson beat Louisville.

I don't know if I'd vote for either of them, but given the complete body of work for the entire season, I'd go with Watson.

Watson has lost 2 games his entire career that he started and didn't get injured forced to leave.

Watson with all the pressure on his shoulders this season was brilliant down the stretch.

He has been clutch his entire career. Late games situations he performs.

Watson has routinely sliced up big time opponents winning games.

Jackson friggin lost to Kentucky last game where HE fumbled the game away,

And he was awful at Houston with a playoff birth on the line.

I think Watson has a real chance. A lot of voters will vote him #1 as a career achievement award. Dude has led his team to the playoff two years in a row and a lot of voters will remember he almost single-handedly beat Alabama last year. Meanwhile, Jackson fizzled down the stretch, losing to unranked Kentucky at home and getting embarrassed by Houston.
