Impressive Tidbit on Robbie/Bobby Washington…

Am I wrong for thinking that many people said Bobby was only a take to lock in Robby early on?
You are right but they were wrong. I been pumping the Bobby train for the longest...we got a bunch of non striking types on that 2nd level...Bobby gonna lay u down..need to work on wrapping though as the players get bigger...but we atleast know hes gonna get there.......NOW...and coming with bad intentions.

He's going to have to learn to wrap up at the next level. Some P5 running backs can bounce off of those hits and keep going. However, you have to love the speed and physicality. With Strong's coaching he will be a good one.

Who crapped in your Cheerios? Enjoy the hit.

Bobby is mean and violent and fast. His coach will tell you. He MIGHT be a better athlete than Robbie. We always talk about “you can’t teach speed” you also can’t teach loving violence. He’s 100% a kid you take a flyer on. If He improves his technique, he’s going to be a serious problem.

They are gonna be huge for Louisville

Big time players make plays regardless.
He still is. He just has limited opportunities.
Wr is the only position that needs to win twice to win.
You got to beat the DB and the QB has to win on the throw so to speak. So with that said he may win the first part often but the 2nd is out of his control.

Charlie Strong will be his position coach. He will be developed. He is going to be a sideline to sideline striking terror.

Similar HS players but I think Bobby has a way higher upside and is far more athletic. Plus will have Steele and Strong coaching him.
Much higher upside would be an understatement. People need to understand that Bobby has only been playing LB for a little over a year so he has a ton to learn. Someone mentioned Corey Flagg having 144 tackles as a junior in HS and how that production doesn't necessarily translate to college. That is true but Bobby Washington is vastly superior to Flagg from a speed and athleticism standpoint.

As mentioned, Bobby races Robby and is constantly neck and neck with his brother who is a certified speed merchant. So with Bobby we are getting a 6'3" 215 lb LB prospect who is completely new to the position but has a high football IQ and elite athletic tools. Coach Strong has been quoted as saying that he cannot wait to get his hands on Bobby Washington. I'm excited to have Bobby if coach Strong is. That's for sure.

Add Bobby Washington, Malik Bryant and Raul Aguirre to young but talented kids like Chase Smith, Wes Bissainthe and Thomas Davis and you have the makings of a very promising LB unit.
