I'm drawing a line in the sand

Im with you Dan!

Now if he fires Dorito, I'm open to another year. or two. But if your telling us he is a Miami caliber coach and can win the ACC and a MNC, then put up or get out.

This will be his fourth year here. He should be competing for the ACCCG regardless of that useless DC we have. Now if he fired Doritos, it'd be easier to win the ACC. Instead, Golden's stupidity is handicapping himself with that useless ****.

Unfortunately, the way Golden has handled this Penn St speculation and the deflection of performance on the field in his two media spots today I am growing tiresome of him. He has to produce on the field this year or my tone and attitude will change dramatically.

If I find out anyone on this board is donating money to this school after his decision to retain his boyfriend Dorito, you better sleep with 1 eye open.

Going to games count???

I wont be donating money though
You want to be heartbroken in person, be my guest. Single game tickets only though.

Call me what you want but I refuse to spend my money and time to watch Dorito another year. I spent the last few games this year only watching offense because it was obvious we could not stop teams. This tells me a lot about Golden...

The University is bigger than one coordinator. And I say that as a person who never wanted D'onofrio because of the compromised loyalties that come with having your best friend on staff.

Win the ACC or get the **** out. That's all that needs to be said for 2014. If this clown is going to stick with Dorito, despite the record setting awful defenses they'll continue to trot out onto the field, then I've made my choice too.

Win the ACC or get the **** out.

What if we play for the ACC title but lose to FSU?

Depends how the season unfolds. We get gashed game after game and inch/backdoor our way into the ACCCG? Will. Not. suffice.

OTOH, if our defense noticeably improves and we lose a couple tough games but still make it to the ACCCG and lose to fSU, I can handle that as long as there is noticeable improvement on both sides. And I don't mean go from #90 in total D to #80 in total D.

I know that 2nd scenario will never happen so I'll go along with it too.

LOL at Dan - You have no say in the matter! You most likely don't donate a dime to ths school either so you can't cut back on that.

if we only win 6 game next year and at the last game during half time he holds a public execution of D'Onofrio, I'm cool with that

****, I'll take total D in the 50s, for crying out loud. That's not asking much out of this talent. But it may be asking too much of the scheme/coaches.

And don't think I haven't let Coley out of my sights. That dude was outcoached more than a few times this year and a bunch of offensive metrics were pitiful.

If I dont see us play Miami Hurricane Football next year IDGAF what our record is, good or bad, GTFOH. If we continue to play this soft *** garbage and somehow limp into the ACCCG I still want him gone. The scary thing is that the Coastal is so weak that we could easily make it to the ACCCG playing like a bunch of pvssies and the admin would never axe him.

i think we get false hopes.

IE: we beat UF and everyone .. EVERYONE thought our D was not only improved but elite. So Dorrito just went "oh, it works.. i'll keep doing the same thing"

later we find out UF was so bad that it didn't even qualify for a bowl game, their worst performance season in ages. So we barely beat a crappy team. and that became the norm. be barely were beating crappy teams

and the 9 win season = beating UF (it sounds good but its WAY over rated )

We need to see dramatic improvement on both sides of the ball IMO. His lack of flexibility in this case will likely be his undoing. Personally I think it's 50/50 he still takes the PSU job. He may however be ****ed at them for how they handled this.

We are all gonna go crazy next year. This guy is locked in for a few more years barring a complete and total collapse.

I was done with his **** after the VT game, then again after the Duke game. The month reprieve let my mind rest and I was prepared to forgive all if they would just compete and win against Loserville in their first bowl game in 3 years. Instead I get greeted with the same **** defense and worse offense, ill prepared for the game and clearly not into it.

It's sad that we're in this situation, where if we get rid of him we risk a decent incoming class and have to deal with a new staff. If we keep him we know what we get.

If he doesn't win 10 games in 2014, GTFO. No more excuses, your defense sucks, your coordinators are suspect, you are suspect. I want you gone, I want to be rid of the memory of you being here. Give us 10 wins and the ACC, GTFO.
