I'm done

I don’t care what MTSU did or didn’t do before or after that. That means nothing to me. College football games stand on their own two feet. If we play MTSU 10 times on random Saturday’s throughout the year, we probably win 9 easily. That day was their day. It can’t happen if you’re Mario and the staff, but it did. Not much you can really do now except learn from it (hopefully) and continue to get better. He’s not going anywhere, so there really isn’t much else to discuss. Hopefully he sees the writing on the wall and jettisons Gattis in the off-season, but I guess we’ll see.
but we dont if we redid that Saturday. it wasn't a fluke is what im saying. they out coached out hustled and outplayed us. coaches and players were thoroughly embarrassed. I know Mario isnt going anywhere and hes gotta work out after that contract.

regarding that last part, I already saw what Mario thinks. when your coach after passing for 500 yards to keep you in a game and preventing a blow out loss comes out and talks about running schemes and going away from it bc Tyler got "hot". yeah it tells me **** never embrace what the roster as it is now does best. we see it with the RZ play calling and how Jekyll and Hyde the play calling can be. hes gonna have to take more MTSU losses on his resume here to finally make the change imo. again, this isnt saying we should never run which posters will take from this. its how we run the ball, what formations we do it out of, and when we do based on the defensive front. we need to be able to run the ball, but this roster cannot run the ball the way Mario wants it done. we have to get creative there and start running out of more spread looks vs what we've been doing (this includes in the RZ). well see what happens.

Dee, I agree with all of this, but a loss to a mid major or whatever MTSU is at another level and worse than the FIU loss. Doesn't matter how little talent, under-developed talent or bad coaching, there is no rationalizing that loss. You don't need to play at an All-American level to beat them. I think most can stomach losses to UNC at this point but not to the MTSU's of CFB.
i have that lost worse than fiu. It was an *** whooping at the hand of mtsu fromt he get go

How did I miss this thread?

Oh that’s right, CIS is overflowing with miserable fūcks, and now is basically unreadable, unless you are a miserable person and secretly (or not so secretly) enjoy when Miami loses, or better yet, is humiliated.

You do realize that the board never really changes.

All that changes is posters’ position on the head coach…

The fans overrate the talent because websites like 247 and Rivals do and that is where most fans get their info. We see stats like blue chip ratio and think that UM is in the upper echelon and we think UM has good players. The stats like blue chip ratio are based on fraudulent information from the services. It’s obvious that UM just doesn’t have a lot of really good football players at the moment.
Facts, when bama is letting u have a high rated guy with no push back I get concerned. Same goes for OSU and UGA depending on position.

I actually think most fans want Miami to win so bad they aren't being honest about the talent level of the incoming kids along with how they can impact the roster. A 350th-ranked kid isn't as likely to get PT as a top 50-ranked kid. Lastly and likely most importantly, Miami hasn't stacked talent at OL/DL. We have Scaife, Harvey, Roberts as the only 3 blue chippers that have been here more than 18 months and we only have 10 others considered bluechippers. Mario HAS TO close at least 2 more elite-level OL/DL kids while keeping the two we already have committed.
If those are three blue chippers sheeeeeeeesh

Stacking OL/DL talent is truly what it takes to be an elite college football program. If we can land Samson and keep our other OL guys committed we will be off to a good start on the offensive line at least.

But the fact of the matter is we’ve lost out on LOCAL guys in recent years at these positions like Dallas Turner (Alabama stud), Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M), Marvin Jones Jr (Georgia), Kenyatta Jackson (Ohio State), Julian Armella (Florida State) just to name a few.

Jones Jr was never coming. But yeah you get the point. Don’t even get me started on skill positions. Just to name a few from the last two cycles. This list could go on for days…

Jason Marshall (Florida)
Ja’Corey Brooks (Alabama)
Earl Little Jr (Alabama)

Agreed. Not to dwell on this game and I hate saying this but hopefully there's enough improvement as the season progresses and it takes away some of the sting from the loss.

Y'all are some of the most arrogant, dillusional, fairweather fans ever and I'm tired of this regurgitated nonsense. Some of y'all just are so miserable in your day-to-day lives that you come on here and try to rile up the rest of the geniuses. If you're actually stupid enough to believe that **** near 20 years worth of built up fvck **** is gonna disappear with the flick of a switch that's on nothing but you. Whether u have issues with clock management, with scheme or anything else it's simply a piece of a far larger problem. All off season you were warned not to just believe what anyone tells you. That we gotta develop these players. EVERY ONE OF THEM. As many bad habits as we have it takes time to switch. All this dumb **** about how coached aren't doing their job is stupid. Me I can't deal with all this complaining so I'll just keep my distance. Hopefully y'all get to the point you realize that misery is just toxic. If not is what it is. Be ez boys
Lol I think the losing over 20 years is taking a toll on you my friend , I don’t think the complaints is the real issue 😂😂😂

I'll be joining you too. I have been here for a min and enjoyed the hobby, but it's not worth it.

So bad. We spent money on this product, and yes, I saw we because I send money. This is the worse product I’ve ever seen. This is worse than Butch’s probation years. If you are any type of man, you, useless coach Mario give your contract away because Manny is better than you. If Phil though you were that good you would have never left Oregon. What a waste!!
