Shayon, Kacy, Highsmith, Thurston, Cornelius, and Clements

Correct answer right here.

Chick should benefit the most from this class, he will actually have some pass rusher around him. He should really show his motor/versatility this year and excel.

I feel like it may be Chick too. I know the coaches love the dude, but he better put in some work on his hand technique to get off some blocks. Him at DT? He needs to put on some more weight ASAP, unless we plan to run our own version of the NASCAR defense. There will be plenty of subbing going on during the game to keep dudes fresh. IMO, I think McCord gets a lot more plays, and I am intrigued to see what Hoilett and O'Donnell bring to the table.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Chick. It's a great thing if he loses playing time next season - it means we have worthwhile players to put on the field. He played pretty much every snap last season as a Sophmore. That's ridiculous and completely unfair on him

Chick looked like he was playing with a piano on his back and his feet tied together.

Ej??? You think a top 3 defensive player on the WOAT canes D isn't going to play as much next year? God help us if that's true

Uh have you witnessed Ej's well documented behavioral issues. That's why I stated that. If he doesn't start to buy in he will be demoted or dismissed. Do I think he's the best at his position ? Yep. Swagger is one thing stupidity is another

IF are recruiting class comes to fruition, who loses significant/ moderate playing time on the current canes roster
I say : EJ because if his attitude/behavior
All of the receivers should be concerned if Cooley commits
Clements if Collins commits

Man Kick rocks if you think EJ's time will be limited. EJ's attitude is exactly the kind of attitude we need on the field and he's apparently learned that. There's no way a freshman comes in and out perform EJ or DP. Next, I will further prove how ****ed up you are in your thoughts. Our WR's have no need to be concerned regardless which WR signs with us. So you mean to tell me Dorsett, Hurns, Scott, Lewis, and Waters should be shaking in their cleats if we sign Coley? Last time I checked Dorsett was listed as one of the top WR's in the nation at one point last year, Waters stepped up to the plate when he need to late into the season, Lewis was on pace to have a good season before the injury, Hurns showed up in every game whether it was catching passes or run blocking for Duke, Scott showed out every game until his suspension. So this just simply goes to show your thoughts are ****ed up man.

U dont really play with 6 receivers though. If coley comes in ready to play and Lewis and Lockhart come back from their injuries, I can def see significant playing time lost for Scott and hurns.

Also maybe carter or jones makes a push for some playing time, regardless it's going to be a be a very competitive position nxt year

Hurns or Scott will not lose any PT if we Coley comes in! Scott was 2nd leading receiver behind Dorsett!

He played nearly every snap last year, because he was better than the alternatives at that point. Not totally hating on the dude, love him as a leader and his family tree is all U. But last year we had limited skill at DE due to injury and freshman that were raw and undersized. 2013...After U tough, some meat and potatoes for last years freshies and red shirt guys, and the influx of some top notch young talent, the D-linewill be a revolving door of talent and substitutions.

On another note, Malcolm Lewis is gonna come back hungry. I hope to see him early and often.

stop making sense!! hes not any good because he put on weight so he should be moved to DT according to many on this site

Walford will still get minutes i think cleveland is gone or wont see the field now. Green, Cornelius, Highsmith, and Rodgers will see a lot less plays

Good post. To add to that, he took almost every snap when he should have been a redshirt freshman. I expect him, along with the rest of the D, to be much improved with another year of added maturity and strength.

EJ's issues are class room related, not behaviour related. He got benched for a penalty at one point but the suspensions were due to grades. He will be fine.

Yea, Sorry OP, but the only one that you listed that would be concerned about playing time would be Clements, due to Collins...

One that hasn't been listed but will kiss a lot of his PT goodbye is Clive Walford... Sandland is gonna tear it up!!

Won't we still use two TEs a lot? I can see both getting a lot of time.

Chick will be the first to tell you that his playing time being reduced is a GOOD thing.

It means we don't have to play him out of necessity and it'll keep him fresher when he's out there.

Pass rushers basically have a snap count and if you start pushing past that it's a point of diminishing returns. Rushing the passer takes more out of you than any spot on the field.

AQM, Bond, McCord, Ferguson perhaps all will help Chick, not hurt him.
