I don't know hoping I'm wrong but I don't have a good feeling about next year

I don't want to hear bout Dorsey comparisons because Dorsey played a lot of football not just his senior season.

At this point, I'm much more concerned with the coaching staff than RW. The OL got its **** pushed in quite often last year. We need to see improvement. Doesn't matter if you have Ryan Williams or anyone else taking the snaps, if opposing DL's are getting that much pressure, no DC is going to be afraid of the offense.

He won't. But he will be giving the ball to Duke, Yearby, Powell, Coley, Dorsett, Berrios, Warlord, and all he other talent we have on offense. Those guys most certainly will (as long as Mr. Coley figures out how to do it consistently).

A smart accurate qb is better than a qb who struck fear in bith the opposition and his own teams heart like Morris did this year

There is not much tape of Williams available, unless you go back to his Freshman Memphis days (3+ years ago). He played in spots this season.

So no, him personally would not strike fear, yet. As a DC, I would look at some of routes, and tendencies of the offensive play calls from the previous season (if Miami was game 1 of the new season).

Kperez,
I appreciate your desire to not bring Dorsey into this but Im not sure its escapable. Lemme axe it at you dis way: WOuld Ryan Williams strike fear into your heart if he were the starting QB on the 2000 Miami Hurricanes? I think that's a more accurate way to play this question.

In 2014 we will have a really good o line, really good receivers, really good runningbacks, and some good tight ends. If I had to scheme against the Canes next year, assuming the Canes had a competent OC, I would definitely be concerned.

If Williams can distribute the ball to our play makers, he will strike fear in a lot of DC's hearts. That's all he needs to do.

Anyone who can consistently move the chains and score points should strike fear, we did not do either this year.

I hope that you're not a UM grad who doesn't know the difference between 'your' and 'you're.'

You're = You are

Your = possession

why would the 2001 canes factor in to this? I hope u aren't saying the 2014 canes will have the same talent as 2001. why do u think we will have a really good oline next year? didn't we think that coming into this year? we lose sentreal and linder with no proven players to replace them (don't you dare say Bunche) and we could use upgrades at center where Mcdermott was dominated at times this year. feliciano is avg. lots of unproven depth in Gall, Sonny, Isorda, Huntington etc. At WR, we lose our best WR in Hurns. Coley should be elite, dorsett only runs deep, scott might not even be on the team, we're going to need Herb to step up a lot, Freshman are going to have to have an impact and thats never a good position to be in. we should be fine at TE in terms of talent and depth. RB Duke is injured, no telling what he will look like, Crawford is avg, Gus will need a big jump to be relied on more, Yearby is hurt, and Powell is undersized. and at QB its all a question mark.

we going to need a few people to take a big step and some freshman to come in ready to go or we may regress some on offense
