He visited Bama during 2 of their most important recruiting events and didnt commit. Even after sitting down personally with Saban for and hour. No decision will be made until he visits Miami. Just accept that

Columbus is 2 1/2 hours away, Knoxville is 4, and Tuscaloosa is 8...we’re 15. How can you expect a poor kid from Huntington to drive 15 hours down here or fly, pay for food for his family, and then the hotel fee? You’re talking about 6-7 trips to Columbus or Knoxville and about 2-3 for Bama for the price of one trip for us. Do you really expect a poor kid like that to spend that kind of money to visit a place one time? Or is he going to wait to take his OV?

People probably believe Steele reached out because the same guy telling them Wright was excited is the same guy who was pumping up Steele as a big UM fan.

That's about what I would guess. That would be an excellent class. No obvious reaches like we saw so frequently in Golden's and Shannon's classes (and to be fair Richts first two classes).

Driving 20 minutes to hang out with your friends on campus is a little different than a 15 hour round trip drive to Alabaga two times. Plus, Tyrique spends a ton of time at UbaGA.

Oh sorry, Wiltfong said that today when talking about UM and Darnell’s interest today so I put them together. Well FYI for everyone on the board Icant find anything stating Chris Steele reached out for an offer but Darnell has the receipt from rivals that he did reach out.

About Steele, I made assumptions based of Brooklyn posts, his interviews, and photos of him in his room. Sue me

But with Wright, I know the family, I know the family situation, and I know what has been told directly to me. I said months ago that as long as Miami keeps recruiting him and it understanding about his situation, Miami will be a big time player in his recruitment. He LOVES Coach Searles. But Miami is battling Distance(UT,UNC, Clemson) and Playoff Participants(Bama, UGA).

1) Rique was there for one weekend and has been to UM 15 times( Per Wiltfong )

2) Huntington, WV is 15 hours one way so if you believe there’s a difference then why are you giving this kid a hard time about waiting for his OV?

Wiltfong made it seem like we’re third in the race so with Bama/UT ahead.
