Saying that our tackling issues are due to the scheme might be one of the dumbest things that I've ever read. Do you want me to go over the many successful teams that play/ed a Tampa/cover 2 scheme? I believe the MNC two years ago was played by two 2 gap teams who don't rely on blitzing or press all that much. What do those teams all have in common? Superior personnel. Tracy wouldn't be a better tackler in a Pop Warner game.

I'm not a huge fan of this scheme but Buddy Ryan couldn't make Rodgers, 30, Gaines or Cornelius better tacklers.
