Thread 'Is Kam untouchable?'

-Bit on the GT game winner.
-Misplayed huge Dez TD against UNC.
-Bit hard on the RPO against FSU that changed momentum in the second half.

He’s a good player but man these mistakes have been massive game changers. For all the **** that Williams has taken take in the past, Kam deserves a lot of criticism. Especially in a defense that’s so aggressive and relies on its back in to be where they need to be.

Kam was actually making some of the same mistakes last year. At least he could tackle though.

Being at the game and seeing how lost the safeties are, was eye opening. They turned the crosser loose on 2 critical downs. GT ran the same play and the safeties did the same thing. Meesh is passing it off to nobody. It seems Harris is the problem with our defense and giving up big plays.
 
Or maybe Harris is doing his job and the defense has a massive hole in it. I don’t ****n know.

But… hypothetical scenario Kam decided to run it back. No doubt it helps our defense with a leader and big playmaker at Safety. We still don’t get strong units at every defensive position, but would it make us effective enough to change our fate this season as a contender?

I think he would make more plays but the structural issues with the defense would remain so hard to say. JMO

Tackling would definitely be better. The safeties are bad and Guidry has been figured out. Just seemed to so easy for tech yesterday and we knew what they were doing. Yet still couldn’t stop it

I mean he knew how to get everybody lined up bare minimum. Meanwhile cis has been praising a mike who has to ask his will what’s going on out there. But his brothers a 5 star

Now that you can have unlimited coaches.. go and hire a real Safety coach this offseason and try and go buy whoever is the best Safety available in college.

Yesh I’m guilty, gun to my head I didn’t think it would be close to what it is now. Well kam is balling on my rams.

This is the worst defense I've seen us field. It's crazy to think how different it looked game 1 at UF. But if GT can do that, I don't even wanna imagine what an elite offense would (will?) do to this defense.
