Slowly but surely, Al Golden is establishing the same cult-like following for himself as there was at PSU.lol if you guys think that the scheme or coordinator is the problem.
Did you not watch the bowl game?
The team quit.

I left the game at the end of the 3rd quarter so I guess I missed that part. From what I saw they were just flat out better. (more talented, better coached & executed flawlessly)
Of course they executed flawlessly. Our guys have no interest in executing.

I'm not saying we didn't help to some degree but from where I was sitting, it looked like the #1 NFL draft prospect was just making plays. More than anything I think Coley (and our lack of depth at the skill position) got exposed.

I hear you FSU.. but do you think it's because we have the wrong play called pre-snap? I think it is more of a combination of lack of talent/an outdated scheme more so than an incompetent DC.
Im not giving up on Coley yet...First year calling plays in a while and he had Stevie "Wonder" Morris, the blind QB. He wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, BUT it is very difficult to call plays when your QB throws to his first read, regardless if its covered or not, 90% of the time. For that, including his recruiting prowess, im willing to give him at least another year before I form an opinion of him.
