I see zero offensive line threads

Did they pass on Mincey or just get beat out by UF?

I like Lloyd Willis, in a big class(WHICH THIS HAS TO BE!), he's a take imo...
Lloyd Willis is extremely passive. I don’t think there’s a single pancake block on his highlights and it’s against much smaller kids. Great frame but like 0 aggression

Who remembers “the greatest show on turf”? That was an Air Coryell vertical passing game. Miami needs to run that but a modern version out of more 20, 11, 10, etc. personnel. More spread formations. More spread concepts. We need a true dual threat QB, not just a mobile one like what we have now in Kosi and Jarren. We need to be run heavy. We need to flex Brevin out in the slot and also use him as a H back off set from the line. We need to use JT as an H too like OSU did with Curtis Samuel or Florida did with Percy. We need to run split back 20 personnel with Cam and DJ on each side of Jarren. We are a spread offense away from being a consistent Top 15 team. It’s that simple.

rams fan here, not sure what your post about the greatest show on turf has to do with us needing 4 offensive lineman a year, but let me say this.

the greatest show on turf had hall of Famers at LT, QB, RB, and 2 WR. Also, the rest of their line was Very good some even pro bowlers. Kurt Warner was not a dual threat QB. Your post makes 0 sense.

and yes,I agree, we need at least 3-4 OL every year

We shouldn't get beat to the punch with local kids. I agree with James Coley-- offer first.

True, but again...Coaching change. And I think there is a line, especially when you are talking these little fake offers that seem to be en vogue nowadays.

Jalen Rivers and a bunch of diamonds in the rough is our "recruiting class".

This is the sort of stupid and clearly anti-UM BS that should get the band fired up. You want to have an intellectually honest conversation about the shortcomings of this recruiting class? Cool. Let's go.

But Don Chaney, Chantz Williams, TVD, Mike Redding, Fleming, and Elijah Roberts aren't "diamonds in the rough." They're consensus blue chip recruits that several big name schools are after. Straight diamonds, no rough.

GTFOH with this nonsense.

Pretty sure he’s talking about just oline commits considering that this is an oline recruiting thread.

And for the love of heaven we need to use our 260 lb FB in short yardage and goal line situations.

We’ve been operating materially under the 85 scholly limit for so long, for positions that you are thin at there is no reason to be stingy with the offers, we are seeing what being late with local guys does to your chances

That’s when you end up with a class of El Gammel and Zion Nelson

Is there an accepted standard? Like 2Ts, 2Gs, and 1C each year? I am just wondering.

We should include Willie Moise in the OL equation.

He may get a shot at DT but I think he is ultimately a high-level OG.

If they are taking him as a OG, will this staff go after another DT? If not that will leave Elijah Roberts as the only DT in this class.

Oh yeah they're great linemen. I can't wait to see Don chaney pulling around to block a defensive end on a toss sweep.....

This is an offensive line thread dumb dumb.
