both from November 20th on Kirkland and grades

Look at the schools recruiting him hardest here, per his quote

"The schools talking to me the most are Ole Miss, West Virginia, South Florida, Florida State, The U, UCLA, Memphis, 'Bama, and LSU."

then from the November 20th big board

"Denver Kirkland: There have been some interesting developments regarding Denver Kirkland as of late. I spoke to a source recently who confirmed my fear of the talented offensive lineman having some grade concerns. I don’t know how serious these are, and if it would prevent him from coming to Miami, but it is something to keep an eye on. USF is a dark horse for him and Matthew Thomas (as crazy as it seems). I still see Miami as the team out in front, but just be aware that there may be some bumps along the way."

also, if it's grades what happened in the last 24-48 hours that made them yank the offer

admissions went through his transcript? Test scores didn't come in? Replacement course got flagged at the last minute? Lots of possible answers

It doesn't seem as simple as grades but who knows...someone gotta be lying

You guys need to calm down & understand something:

This is just some really weird sh*t.

If it's grades why is Ice lying in the paper saying we pulled his offer bogus?

To not make Kirkland bad.

He could have just said nothing then. Instead of publicly calling out the staff and saying he felt lied to and questioning whether his players could trust our coaches. That's far too extreme for it to just be about saving face for Kirkland. Ice is a Cane himself.

Even if it's grades why pull the offer? Let him commit, when he doesn't qualify send him to prep and let him enroll for next spring.

Just doesn't make sens.e

Still even if it's grades, there has to be some communication thats upfront and in advance to the player. Not 6 days before signing day. The kids obviously bummed proven by his tweet. You just don't handle a local kid like this. I've heard Golden say multiple times that they don't like to offer local kids early unless they're absolutely sure because they never want to pull a ship from a local kid.
