Apparently not.
LOL at “defense put in tough situations.” These idiots spew cliches and the rubes lap them up like a horny *******. Vag Tech’s offense has been in a tough situation all year what with sucking and all. Our defense was the salve they needed when we refused to cover anyone and let a new QB get comfortable.
Their writers have press access my friend. This board is monitored by the athletic department at UM. They don't want it pulled or revoked. They just took down Pete's post calling out Blake's main squeeze.
like they didnt learn the first time with RS, had to do it again just to make sure i guessNot defending Diaz at all. He sucks as a head coach 5 games in. Do not blame him either. He jumped at the chance offered him. How many in his position would have turned it down
I blame an administration for hiring a coach who has to learn how to be a head coach on his first job in that position. No power 5 school should ever make a hire like that. Miami hiring like a mediocre fcs school is where the real blame is.
How much of a clown do I look like when I told all my football buddies that, looking at our weak @ss schedule, 9-3 is the floor
Blake James should be fired first
Anyone notice the DL looked impressive when it was Miller, Nesta, GR and Garvin? Want to guess who on in there on the last drive? ***** this staff.
I dont agree that mario wouldve been a bad hire BECAUSE I know the staff he was gonna surround himself with. We had a group chat going among all of us. That's all I'm gonna say on that. I understand the concerns with Mario's game day coaching much like I understood at the time the criticism butch would get for the same thing. But mario is still young and he is a monster recruiter. Surround him with the right support and hed be unstoppable. MOST coaches are nothing more or less than the staff they surround themselves with. I'm not even gonna say the names that were being tossed around for a.d. a couple of very interesting fairy tales atleast.
We also had oline issues. It's crazy that with Richt, really our only problem was playcalling(and sprinkle in Rosier). All he had to do was hire an OC and we could've been great at this point.
Nah. No he didnt. The ultimatums were gave by paul dimare. Blake had to be dragged into that office with him. Blake is the ultimate bottom bytch just begging for approval. The man avoids conflict like the plague.Blake sucks, but he did do this exact thing with Richt last year.
And with that said, lock thread.Nah. No he didnt. The ultimatums were gave by paul dimare. Blake had to be dragged into that office with him. Blake is the ultimate bottom bytch just begging for approval. The man avoids conflict like the plague.
Some version of this delusional canard has been said about every coach since coker. All equally insane, mind you. If only Clappy had fired Kehoe earlier, or held onto Soldinger, or clamped down on the country club. If only Alfraud Gluten woulda fired Dorito. If only Randy would have recruited schools other than MNW and BTW. If only Mork pricht woulda whatever. It's crazy that with Richt, really our only problem was playcalling(and sprinkle in Rosier). All he had to do was hire an OC and we could've been great at this point.
I also see a lot of this from Manny’s defenses like when he was fired:
“One of the biggest problems against BYU - in addition to Diaz basically playing a 4-2-5 scheme (this is what Texas opened in) and even a 5-1-5 scheme - was that the defensive line continued to shoot gaps instead of a base, read-and-react, gap control defense.
So when BYU would slant its offensive line to the left or right, and the Cougars did that a lot, it allowed BYU to get the Texas front flowing in one direction. Then, BYU would counter or cut back with Hill or a running back in the opposite direction with nothing but open field.
This is the same stuff that got Diaz's D in trouble last year. His D-linemen needed to hold their ground, engage blocks and shed blocks to protect their gaps. Instead, they were out of position all night.”
His defenses, particularly his DLs, play undisciplined style football with no gap control. However not to be outdone his secondary can often suck as well. Wisky’s Hornibrook (who couldn’t even keep his starting job and was forced to transfer) was the OB MVP. That night he looked like he was ready to be the #1 NFL pick. Once teams adjust during games Manny typically has no answers or strategy.
Just an fyi jarren seperated his shoulder week 1 against ufag. = shots play through it.If we beat them with Perry the “If Perry was the QB the whole time we would be undefeated!!” crowd will come out.
That said, if Diaz tells Baker he can do the game planning but will no longer call plays on game day and takes back his defense then I will have hope. At some point Diaz has to get ****ed at how Baker has ruined the defense that he worked so hard to get to almost elite status. I’m optimistic he takes it back and maybe we can end the season 8-4. Maybe. Lol.
