I can’t defend Manny

I don't think we beat UVA. But that would be par for the ACC CoaRstal. Below average teams beating each other for the right to get their asses handed to them by Clemson.

We will, without question, beat uva. And you’re right. All the mongoloids will try to start circling the wagons. How many times have we seen that exact scenario play out under the last 4 bums?
I can definitely see one of our two ACC wins coming Friday night. I’m having a hard time finding the other one though. Georgia Tech??

D,

How about discussing the real issue?

- Manny didn’t hire himself
- Richt didn’t hire himself
- Richt didn’t extend himself

At what point do we focus our attention on the real issue?

Either Blake is in control and making these decisions or he is a puppet and the BOT are making these decisions.

Either way, we need a competent AD with passion and autonomy.

Nothing likely changes until we try to do things properly.

@DMoney

Any thoughts? Why are you concerned with Cuban Radio? Did he hire himself? Did Richt Hire himself?

Are you concerned with speaking up and discussing the real issue?

If we beat them with Perry the “If Perry was the QB the whole time we would be undefeated!!” crowd will come out.

That said, if Diaz tells Baker he can do the game planning but will no longer call plays on game day and takes back his defense then I will have hope. At some point Diaz has to get ****ed at how Baker has ruined the defense that he worked so hard to get to almost elite status. I’m optimistic he takes it back and maybe we can end the season 8-4. Maybe. Lol.

This is all very golden like with manny so far or maybe worse.....

-Blake baker is the Golden’s donofrio hire.
-Defense looks/playing eerily similar to donofrios.
- offense is an issue but not THE issue( similar to fisch and coley). It will get better over the season.
- regression of defensive players the more they are here.
- hiring people you can’t fire never ends well.
- Playing a shayon green(patchan) talent over more talented edge rushers.
- knowles(very highsmih/kc Rodgers type of play every game)
- lack of pressure up front
- Hiring a staff even worse than golden put up(he had at least 3-4 coaches go on to be position coaches in the nfl soon after Miami and another hire is oc at uga now).
- even worse recruiter than golden and managed to hire a staff that even golden wouldnt have

What are the few board insiders hearing inside the athletic department.

People always talk but is there anything you guys can leak.

Are they saying “oh this is just Diaz first year and we have to get rid of the disease first”

Are they saying raising eyebrows and saying “let’s see how this plays out the next two years”

What are y’all hearing from BOT, or any of your inside contacts @DMoney @Peter Ariz

People need to stop disrespecting golden he is light years better than diaz as a head coach golden was under the sanction era manny diaz is playing with a full deck and is the worst coach in the history of this program bar none he makes golden look like lombardi

Manny has turned this **** show into the Miami Dolphins. And there's no draft to tank for.

************ has got to go no later than at season's end.

Not a single coach, not one should be fired........ Yet.
The only firing should be Blake James. Then a couple resignations on the BOT.

Then, and only then, should coaches heads start to roll.

Huh? Players development aside (that's on coaching) who were better as HS players than our two TE's? I'm sure Jordan would like to have a word with you. As HS players, where Hightower and Pope ranked among WR's? Lingard among RB's? And who in the ACC better than Shaq and Pinckney? Who is in the ACC better than Garvin, Patchan, Harvey and Rousseau? The list goes on.

I remember when Saban wanted Pope and Hall badly. Now posters are putting down our players to justify poor coaching and development. SMH

Not sure what you're "shaking your head" about?

I amended to add Brevin. That was my oversight. Brevin and DJ are currently "elite players in the ACC" like the original poster mentioned. Pinckney is playing decent. Nobody else is playing an at elite level.

Some of the guys you mentioned have potential (Garvin, Rousseau, Harvey) but haven't been "elite" and the rest of the guys you said are having subpar years and are NOT amongst the elite of the ACC let alone the country. Some barely get any burn (Hightower, Pope).

Hall looks lost out there.

Saban makes plenty of mistakes BTW he just recruits four 4/5* guys at every position so when he makes a mistake nobody notices.

Again, I was referring to HS school performance and ranking. Performance in college largely depends on coaching and development. Many of our players were recruited by UG, Alabama, OS and other top schools. They would have done much better with better coaching.
But again, I never mention the world elite. I just said they are some of the best in the ACC (not the country) and the ACC is hardly an elite conference, aside from Clemson.

I dont Think deejay is elite but very good. Rousseau on the other hand has potential to be elite and if he started he would easily have like 8 sacks right now guaranteed. His production per snap basis is ELITE
