I am truly excited and hopeful for this season

If we can get by Louisville, we can make a nice run leading up to the FSU game.

With Duke Johnson and our special teams/return game, I feel we have a good shot at beating louisville. Our playmaker should help ease the burden of our QB position.

Can't wait.

I told myself i wouldn't get excited after the last few years....but damnit, I'm fired the **** up again.
 
This is the worst week of the year, certainly the longest feeling week of the year. I can't wait for 9/1 to arrive. I agree if we can handle our business in Louisville we will have a nice run leading up to FSU. Louisville will set the tone for our season for better or worse.

For the first time ever, I am not excited for Canes Football. After witnessing last year's Bowl game in person, I was officially done. If we had a new Defensive Coordinator then it would be a different story.

Kinda hate to say it but if it means we're playing our best ball during the acc schedulenand at the end of the year, then I'm all for it....sick and tired of early wins against the OSU, Oklahoma, UF, FSU that ended up being horrible the last 5 years, and nosediving to a horrible ending

As long as we play in that ****hole division, there's always a reason to be optimistic.

I have done this the past probably 10 years hahah...then when the season turns out how they have (with the exception of a couple decent years), my wife always looks at me saying "Didnt you know this was going to happen? It always does".

Im ready to start blowing some mother****ers out again...

My comment was directed to the mopes. I am always ******* excited my man. Always. If you walk around with **** in your pants during football season, well maybe you need some more hobbies.
 
Going into a season whining and moaning and acting like a defeated **** is pathetic. You look like an old fart sitting around waiting to die.

New season. The day I stop getting excited or hopeful about the football season before it even starts is the day I find a new hobby.

Whether I go in hopeful or mopeful I'm still going to be crushed if we suck. So I might as well be hopeful until there's another reason not to be. If being a miserable whiny sour **** cushions for you the blow of us eventually sucking, then you don't really care all that much in the first place.
