They haven't been caught???? Former players have admitted to getting paid on tv,radio, and,magazine articles and nothing ever happens,nothing.The NCAA and Mark Emmert are a bunch of hypocritical crooks who are obviously getting paid under the table by the SEC.

Our stuff was always small potatoes. Nevin himself said he was frustrated he couldn't match the SEC schools. They've got whole networks, spread throughout communities in the various states. The biggest problem is, in those states, very few have any moral scruples about it---they just think it's part of the business. They have no pretenses of being ethical or honest.

That's why our achievements over the last third of a century have been all the more amazing when you consider what our competition was like.
 
So how does that all work? Say uf gives a kid some money and he commits. Them bama decides they want him, do they actually give him cash? Do they promise him money once he's signed? How do you keep from giving a kid money and watching him go elsewhere? If he burns you it's not like you can call him out on it.

Someone said they were offered things, so they get it when they actually sign. Don't remember who, but someone was offered a share of an oil rig i think.

Funny, the last bagmen we had wasn't all that great. He is in prison now. JJ at wr would be nice.

These people go largely undetected. Check out Youtube, kids have school fights up online within moments of the fight happening. **** you can watch cops murdering black men live on Facebook. You might be saying WTF are you talking about? In this age of recording these guys go undetected. How? What could influence you or me to sign at a school, take money, and stay quiet? Im sure these kids are picking between great options. We all love the U. Why do we love the U? Think about when we were in college. I think there were several schools I could have gone to. I never felt like I only could go to a junior college, military school, PWU, or HBCU. I could have gone to a lot of places, but not just any place. More money at some schools may have swayed me.

the game continues to evolve. no one involved is broke or stupid. every school has people willing and able to help student athletes. do not lose site of the fact that kids are still most concerned with coaching, campus and atmosphere. money is rarely the deciding factor. it plays a greater role for handlers. it's not the main reason most commits pick a school.
