Hurricane Club Tix Renewal

I'm thinking of killing this girl I raped last year because I haven't had my trial yet. I'm really bummed at the delays in the court system and think this might light a fire under them. What do you guys think?

I know a lot of people on these boards dont go to games, so you dont know what it feels like to fork over thousands of dollars to be led to an end of year self imposing. Enough is enough already, we're bleeding money to people who are either leading us on or getting fondled by the NCAA

This post really irks me. I have 4 club level seats, and I can't go to games because I've relocated overseas (24 hours away). I still find a way to make it to one home game a year, and I spend thousands, just like you.

That said, your plan is idiotic. I hope you go thru with it and the university sells your seats to someone else.

How is a bar complaint against an attorney working for the NCAA going to help move this situation to a conclusion?

It's not that it will help our situation but what she did was unethical. Also borderline Extortion in the state of Florida. See FSS 836.05

"Whoever, either verbally or by a written or printed communication, maliciously threatens to accuse another of any crime or offense, or by such communication maliciously threatens an injury to the person, property or reputation of another, or maliciously threatens to expose another to disgrace, or to expose any secret affecting another, or to impute any deformity or lack of chastity to another, with intent thereby to extort money or any pecuniary advantage whatsoever, or with intent to compel the person so threatened, or any other person, to do any act or refrain from doing any act against his or her will, shall be guilty of a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084."

Fans like these, huh, Gary?

The NOA could be there before your letter. No inside information, but it's coming soon. The letter is a bad idea.

Just received the email for next season. I am part of an alumni group that buys 25 total. We are considering letting UM know that we will not renew until we are made aware of NOA and follow up based on it. Hate to punish UM for the NCAA's ineptitude, but we're thinking it lights a fire under UM to push for answers if significant enough.

Thoughts?

Sorry, but your group's line of thinking makes no sense to me. I'm 100% certain that UM wants to put this investigation and sanctions behind them. Penalizing UM for the action, or lack thereof, of the NCAA will not bring this matter to a close any sooner.

What this man said...group think is scary.

I'm thinking your alumni group is clearly more from the Suntan U era than the Top 40 University US News era.

Sounds reasonable. Clearly it will speed things along...

My thoughts are that UM should tell you and the rest of your group to go **** yourselves.

Your screen name is not a mendacity.

Anything is possible, and if some of the responders deal in the professional world(which it seems some may not), timelines can be moved with proper communication, attainment of timelines, and asking good questions and demanding answers.

Just to sit around and say there's nothing more you can do is a mentality that great organizations do not have in their DNA. Theres always something else that can be done.

Holy **** ... did I click on the football board on scout?

With all due respect to OP, as I appreciate your support of the Canes, this is retarded. Fully retarded. For one, the thought has always been the NOA letter would arrive somewhere between January and March of this year. Nothing you, I or anyone does to UM is going to change that. It's just dumb. This program and head coach need MORE support, not less. You're misguided, reverse course ASAP.

lol you really think if UM had a chance to get the NOA letter now they wouldnt do anything in their power to get it? if it were up to them this wouldve been wrapped up over a year ago. UM has no say in when the NCAA sends the letter and there is nothing your little group could do about it. im an alum and have season tickets, as well, and the time to extend support to your alma mater is during the worst of times and this one of those times. they will gladly give your tickets away to someone else especially since the alumni section is being moved with the student section to another area and season tickets will have to be redone

Great plan. right up there with sticking your junk in a plugged in toaster oven.

I honestly thought this thread was going to be encouraging everyone to support the team and Al's ruthlessness on the recruiting trail by renewing/buying tickets for next season. Sorely disappointed..
