Well...we already heard (followed by thunderous 'Likes') the 'no excuses' for our fans not to attend any games. Even all the noon ones in South Florida.

But somehow our fanbase is supposed to be more committed than our own team. Apparently 'no excuses' doesn't apply. I'm not supporting heat stroke, but the hypocrisy is so palpable I could spread it on my toast and it tastes like Vegimite.

Yeah, sounds like our fan base is soft, too. So let's fill the stadium this afternoon - nah, we never do that, anyway - and practice sitting out in the stands for 4 hours. Let's not be hypocritical and take shots at the coaching staff and kids. Man up, dudes. Leave the comforts of AC and get your butts ready for the season.

I've done that every year for the past 12 years. With similar results during the late-Coker, Shannon, and current-Golden era. Not any more. I'm getting free tickets from work for the GT game, and that is the only money I'll spend until I see a better product. I'm the customer in this transaction of fan/team. No one should continue to shell out their money until a company eventually makes a better product.
