Howard and Carter get into it at practice

I love this Freshman class! These are the kinda guys we have been missing. I think Miami might surprise some people this year!

Isn't there a highlight tape where Tracy got Avery Johnson pretty ****ed off in a HS game? Lol I think Tracy is going make a lot of WRs ****ed.

The feistyness is more then welcomed, but to be honest, we haven't heard his name mentioned in terms of making any plays. Fighting is nice when you have some on field, (or in this case, Greentree) cred.

I like it, but I'm not getting carried away......

"Jontavious Carter has surprised some with his toughness thus far and is arguably the team’s toughest wideout already. Carter showed his highly aggressive side on Wednesday as he got into it with the defense during Category 5 blocking drill as well as mixing it up with S Kacy Rodgers during early work. Carter also has daily battles with CB Brandon McGee."

Finally, some attitude. Just what we need.

First thing I thought of too was Avery Johnson stomping around the field throwing a tantrum.

Still, Carter said: "I'm from a small town. That's kind of who we are, the underdog and we don't back down from nothing." #UM

Carter says he's doing extra work on the side despite the 6:30 a.m.-10 p.m. day that includes breakfast, practice, meetings, etc.

"It's what you put in," Carter said. "If you feel you're so tired from camp, of course you're not going to do anything. But if you really have that drive, that work mentality, you can come in early before breakfast. I've come in a few times before breakfast and watched Brandon Marshall on tape. You can get JUGS in before practice, about 50 catches in. It's all about what you want to do. It's how you feel in your job, your work ethic."

Quote from Carter. You've gotta love what he's saying right here.

If those players were REAL smart - each time they line up, they'd both be chanting/yelling "Make me better! Make me better!"
