How much did Mr. Grobe pay the refs?

ACC officials are absolutely terrible. It's not that they cheat like SEC officials, they are just completely incompetent. That whole crew from today should be suspended for the rest of the season. It's one thing to let people hold or play receivers physical, but they were completely clueless. A disgrace to the ACC and to college football. I'm just glad Duke scored anyway and they didn't cost the U the game.

Agreeon the officials but also agree that Grobe is a great coach. His loyalty to Wake is smething ese as he always has a very fundamentally sound team, he just can' get the horses with their academic requirements. I would hate to see him coaching a team like Florida.
 
We have all seen our share of poorly officiated games...but this is the worst one i can recall. There was a play sometime in the second half where one of wake's lineman clearly moved early but we got called for offside. That's just another example i hadn't heard mentioned. This crew was awful. The acc refs in general seem to be incredibly poor.

This is nothing new. If your a Hurricane fan, ( and as far back as I can remember), we have been getting ****ed by refs. Ed said it best, "Nobody likes ya".

The instant replay ref needs to be suspended. Imagine if Duke did not score after he botched that call. That was as plain as day he was inside the pylon. They even had an overhead shot that proved he never went out of bounds.
 
The Duke non-touchdown call was incomprehensible how they could miss. But as I believe it was Jimmy Johnson said, never leave the game in the ref's hands.
 
I hate the ACC refs! Very hard for anyone to convince me that there's not a bias against Miami. Seeing is believing and I've seen plenty of horrible calls against the U
 
Well FSU thinks Ron Cherry hates them so if his crew does the game it might be evenly officiated :(

People need to realize that no one wants us to win. We have had that same exact ref blow other calls on us in other games. Pathetic.
 
Get ready to yell and scream at the TV Saturday night when Benjamin gets away with offensive PI all night long.

I went with a good friend who has a football background and is not a UM fan. Before the game, I told him that ACC refs were atrocious, and his reply was, "every team thinks the refs have it out for them".

After the game, he said, "why do you guys put up with such ****** refs"?!?
