Im expecting at least 9 wins if we get decent QB play. A bad season more then likely means the defense played poorly again, so D'onofrio will get fired not Al.

If we can win 1 of the games between Louisville and Nebraska (preferably Louisville), Lose to FSU, other then that we get Duke at home, UNC at home, Cincy at home which are all very winnable games for us. Maybe we slip up at VT? Either way i think if we see even a slight improvement in the defense with some decent QB play 9 or 10 wins isnt out of the question

to answer your question, I really don't think there is a number. The cloud will protect him as well as a contract until 2020. The school appears to be content with being an ACC contender and are too cheap to make a move.

I read the thread title. It was how many wins. And then I opened it up, and it proceeded with, for Golden to keep his job. We've discussed this ad nauseam on here. During the season, after the season, whenever. He could go 0-12 and wouldn't get fired this year. All those other threads you mockingly brought up, would be just as dumb and a waste of time.
