How many spots does bama have left?

You know what could happen? And I know it's wishful thinking. UGA is crazy about beating Bama to the #1 class. They are going head to head on a few 5* guys. Imagine the "perks" going out this cycle?????? Maybe someone will get sloppy and get caught. Or make it so obvious it cannot be ignored...

With Emmert as president of the NCAA, I doubt anything happens to either school. Having said that, and this is slightly off topic, I think the NCAA president shouldn't have any ties to particular Power 5 schools. Saban's a good coach, but I don't believe in coincidences that Emmert happened to be the president of LSU at the same time that Nick Saban was there, and now Saban is having the dominance that he's having.

They have as many spots as they need. And the NCAA remains a joke on this front.

If you want to be coached and win and receive a free Dodge vehicle of your choice to go with your bag you go to Alabama. Only real dogs who truly aren’t afraid to compete to go Bama.

FIFY, Andy.

It was almost two years ago to the day that Saban taught me what the **** a “gray” shirt was.

Exactly! Lol. I was like wtf is that?! Lol. They operate like a real program. It’s not hard. Just be aggressive. They can wait on offers b/c they are clearly on top.

Give me odds equal to “no one beating them” and I’ll take OU. Any interest?

Go Canes!
Nah just my opinion

Im to shook to bet

But i think bama wins by more then 10. I will be rooting hard for OU but even if OU somehow pulls it off it doesnt derail that train sabanbuilt just makes it late one stop

Cool. I’m interested to see how Bama deals with a team that scores as much as OU. A little bit of pressure has a way of making kids do stupid ****.

If anyone has a chance it may very well be OU but i think this bama team is an all time squad

Bama is a machine but, there was a state full of Huskers Jan1 1984 who thought the same. That’s why I love college ball. Anything can happen.

Doesnt feel like anything can happen anymore man. Feels like theres no chamce whwn the guys we r chasing get who they want and it has nothing to do with wins. Wins make it an easier choice though

That is definitely what they tell you. Their whole town Has bought in. You are a star there. Their school attendance has almost doubled since Saban has been there. They have an assistant for the assistants assistant. They get the best of the best. They make sure they have the best of the best resources. They have the blue print. That place is truly a machine.

Very true...….also throw in the $EC office residing in Birmingham. The big time lawyers and bankers(UA grads) helping in the state to keep things running smoothly. The football program might be dirtier than the politics in the state. That speaks huge volumes.

Everyone thinks you stop a passing offense with good DB's. Championships teams stop a passing offense with a good DL. Bama will have the best DB's OU has played all season and their receivers will have less time to get open due to Bama's DL.

Correct. Pass defense is more the pass rush and defensive backs who attack the short passes. Deeper balls are obviously more difficult to connect. The weakest pass defenses have no rush and are passive against short cutesy stuff like flanker screens.

Saban is furious when those underneath passes are allowed to ramble. He knows those are garbage calls that Big 12 offenses exploit because nobody in that conference plays pass defense. When Texas was making that comeback in the title game years ago with a backup quarterback, Saban was livid in the 4th quarter when several screen passes barely slipped through his defense for big gains. I have never seen him that red or angered. In contrast, he respects the downfield throws like Georgia was executing most of the game last week. In that case he'll throw up his arms in frustration but gives credit to the opponent.

He’s Bear Bryant’s great grandson and is likely willing to do whatever it takes to play for Bama. His family has the money to easily pay for his in state tuition.

You guys have to think about this logically. How will it look if Bear Bryant’s 4* great grandson has to pay to play at Alabama?

OU will hang at least 40 on that bama defense their dbs aren’t good.

Sheep go to play for Alabama.

Lol @dwistles. An all time squad that needed a Kirby coaching blunder to beat UGa?

This Alabama team has several flaws. I don’t think they win it all.
