Shannon was worse.

That genius decided Devonta Freeman wasn't good enough to play at Miami and opened up the Miami Central pipeline to FSU.

LOL our recruiting is better now then it has been in 10 years or more and Richt , despite what many say about his on field coaching can't be questioned as a recruiter as at UGA he got a top 10 class every year . WE will end with a class ranked somewhere between 7-12 . And we are filling the major needs . Golden is responsible for the messed up WR classes and the lack of good LBs and OL and to some extent last years class ( which is was **** good as the 3 first team AA freshmen show) but I have zero complants about this class so far. WE need to add 7-10 more beasts and I think we will.

They act like Jeudy was a lock to UM. Kid was all Bama for months, we are presented with the possibility of flipping the kid but our staff is a "failure". GTFO. Cannot downvote enough.

Yeah, it hurts like ****. Kid is ELITE and a game changer, but our staff did way more and got further in than people ever thought they would with the kid. I can't fathom how the staff failed when they literally shocked the recruiting world by getting him to come on campus at all.

This string of incompetence won't be erased in one year, short of hiring Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh and their staffs of 15 recruiting coordinators, etc.

If all of these heart attacks are over Jeudy, step back. We were in his final two after the prior staff bungled his recruiting throughout his HS career. Our competition was the #1 college football program in the country, not bad for a program that was running off a 1995 budget that hadn't even broken ground on its IPF.

This is the most competent recruiting we've seen in over 15 years, it will bear fruit, but it's not going to be just yet.

Recruit your asses off and stack top 10 classes and win some games. The momentum will swing back our way on these kids.

last year harbaugh got the number 1 recruit in the country to commit.

where is the 5 star game changer that CMR is able to take from other programs.

DJ Johnson is a guy you're talking about. Not a 5-star but he's an elite player from way out of our normal recruiting area.
 
After this cycle. Going forward it's on Richt and staff. They now have a had a year to build the relationships, and recruit. After NSD 2017 going forward the blame is on the current staff

yr 3 is when u can stop blaming golden , that's when richt will have mostly his kids its when most programs take the next step or not with the coach and by then richt will have been on all the kids he wants for 3-4 yrs so guys like jeudy won't get away or shouldn't, Miami is always gonna lose a few 5 and 4 stars they can't get all of them but they should get majority of them that they want by then.
 
Some people should just go ahead and off themselves already. Bunch of sad sack, miserable losers crying over not being able to flip a guy who was committed to Bama. They put the full court press on and bent over backwards to try to sway the kid. He chose to stick with his original choice. Not sure how you can blame a staff for that. It's not like they ignored him and he was begging to come here.

I don't care about effort. We don't give out trophies for trying hard. Only closers matter.

Golden left us in a HUGE hole that wont be just fixed in 1 **** season.... if people cant see that trust needs to be built with this new staff for recruiting purposes then i dont know what the heck you have been doing this whole time... Golden was an absolute JOKE so was his staff, if i was a kid i would want to make sure this new staff is NOTHING like them... now, we know this staff isnt, but maybe these kids want to still see more from them on AND off the field... Richt will right the ship sooner than later
 
And look I like this class we have, Donaldson was a huge keep, QB recruiting looks good, the safeties we're bringing in look good and if we can add the two AH OL we knocked it out of the ******* park at OL recruiting. There's a lot of good things about this class but there is a glaring hole at WR recruiting and it's unacceptable. This is S Fla there should be no problem finding WRs and CBs.
 
If this was 10 years ago I'd say blame Richt. but the game has changed 1 year is an extremely uphill battle to build relationship and get kids who want to leave to stay. Oh and we've also sucked for 10 years so there's that.

Ppl gotta accept that we are behind in CFB right now. It's pretty similar to when Schnelberger took over. We are behind in winning, behind in facilities, behind in fan support. No you don't need to be elite in those areas to win but they matter to recruits and serve to legitimize the program.
