How in the world

Well, you see... Jon is overworked, so Richt has decided Jon no longer needs to recruit. As a matter of fact we are no longer going to use a quarterback at ALL!! We're planning on running the wildcat exclusively. That way Jon needs to do NOTHING and still cash checks.

Richt has recruited 4 QBs over the last 3 years (Allison, Perry, Weldon and Williams)... None have been able to unseat the magnificent Rosier, so maybe it's best we just run the option.

Evaluations are improving for HS QB’s. But all these low rated kids get drafted while playing for scrub programs. Not saying we’re getting the next Carson Wentz. But getting a kid with a strong arm, good measurables and character is better than nothing.

Who are we kidding. It won't even matter. Our system is from the 90's.

They have some issues, but the top 2 all time leading passers in SEC history played for a Richt at UGa.

thats not saying much..considering they just figured out in the sec that passes can be completed pass 15 yds. Other than Spurrier's UF teams...that conference cant throw

i seriously think they could care less about a qb in this class and likely are keeping the door open for nephew in 2020

Are you kidding? How dare you demand Junior search for a QB during surfing season. We should be thankful he even makes it to games in between chasing swells.

Can you imagine if Jarren Williams is NOT the answer? Holy ****.

No way its a lie, We were told all camp he was slinging it.

The only problem was guys like Dean had improved so much, receivers weren't running open... oh sh*t wait.

A couple of MAJOR f*ck ups have occurred here:

1. Jack Allison's transfer in 2016

2. The inability to develop Rosier to at least serve as a bridge to the next generation of QB's

3. Completely dropping the ball with QB recruiting this year

I'll commend Richt and staff for bringing in 3 QB's in the past 2 classes. The issue is, Perry appears to be a potato and Weldon will never play a meaningful down here. We needed to bring in 1-2 QB's this cycle to insulate ourselves from a potential transfer.

To my last point, Weldon is likely gone come spring and it's going to take a heck of a recruiting pitch to keep Perry here and compete with Jarren. I'm fine taking a flyer on a lower rated, Stephen Morris-type kid as I don't see a graduate transfer coming over to compete for a job. Don't see how that solves our problem either and may further alienate a kid like Williams.

If this thing were handled right, then next year we'd have 4.
1. **** RSO #5 Perry: Clearly the starting QB as he "executes" better than the rest, makes some throws we havent seen in a while. Needs to refine his game.
2. *** RSO #17 Weldon: Backup QB fighting for spot with Williams, never know when someone goes down. Will graduate by next season so he doesnt have to sit out when he does, staff helps him find a starting spot somewhere close to home. Doesnt "execute" as good as Perry.
3. **** RFR #15 Williams: took a redshirt to learn how to "execute" better. Battling with Weldon to get better.
4. ***/* FR #? Redshirting to learn how to "execute" better.

Exactly. We also heard about how much Malik improved and it turned out he regressed. We heard how Cade was the most developed of them all and he looked the worst(besides Malik) during the SSU game.
