How good is ND projected to be when we play them?

Legit top 5 team with some freaks. QB is their only? Granted it’s a big one, but they do have talent in the room. DT is their only position where they don’t have studs. Everywhere else they are talented and deep.
Felt like the QB Angeli wasn’t fazed in the CFP semi game when Leonard was knocked out for a bit. And ND continued to throw the ball and run their offense. Hard Rock needs to be wild and get into the QB head like we did in 2017.

I listen to Scott Van Pelt’s podcast every week and he’s a Maryland grad and big hoops fan. He’s said multiple times about their arena, “there are nights when that building won’t let you lose”.

That’s how Hard Rock was in 2017. That’s how it needs to be in 2025.

The players and coaches may come and go, but it’s no secret what type of team Notre Dame is going to be under Freeman. Tough, physical defense and pound the rock on offense. Our boys better be ready to go because this is going to be one of those late season type games being played at the beginning of the year. We need to be ready to match their physicality and if the offense can give us 28+ points we should be in good shape because Notre Dame is never going to be the type of team to light up the scoreboard, especially with their uncertainty at QB. Our ability to stop Love is what worries me.

They were better than us last season, and they have less questions than we do.

They are favored for a reason. Could be 2 of the best OL's in the country in that game.

I dont think we will win as of now, but I do think we will beat UF in game 4.

I am way more worried about Love and that defense than I am about Angeli.

Not saying he's bad or anything but I won't read too much into a handful of plays the kid got against a team that probably let their guard down a bit thinking ND would go conservative until Leonard came back.

It'll ultimately come down to our ability to get off the field on 3rd downs and not let Love dominate + grinding out some points against a tough D.

O/U is currently set at 53.5......I'd take the under in a heartbeat. Seems like easy money.

Agree, but they will be more balanced this year. Both Carr and Angeli are better passers, and they have pretty good WRs and backs who catch the ball. Our LBs concern me the most. It will be a tough night if they can't keep Love and Price in check. very tough game to win, but playing at Miami in this type of game is like an Anfield European night.
