It’s one thing that some schools do really well, manage their own payroll first. Portal is tough if you can’t keep your top 5 guys and he is WR 1 and it’s not close. ****

He grew up (or in HS at least) a Bama fan

He's also tight with Jordan James if he will still be at Oregon. I could see that.

Little to no info and just knowing some on the Ole Miss staff and their connections to his connections at home (plus the way Ole Miss operates).... I'm going to guess Ole Miss.

It sucks, Horton is a stud. But you land Daniels/Stribling/Key/Sturdivant and you don’t miss a beat for that spot. This is CFB in 2024 and sounds like they knew this was coming considering all of the WRs we have visiting.

Shouldn’t be surprised… if I had to guess he’s never had a good NIL deal.

Making a last guaranteed bag come up before his money year to the NFL and the crapshoot that can be.

If we want him he’ll be back… I mean we paid Sam brown for his half assing all season
 
Doesn’t make sense he would’ve been the clear number 1 next year now he tests free agency and probably will go to tenn or oregon

Had a toy drive yesterday and was wearing his jersey. Seems to be the answer for so many portal visitors, but we have a solid young core (Jojo, Carr, Robinson). Would've much rather have had Rayray hop in rather than Horton.
 
With all the WR recruiting we've done in the portal, it was evident a big name wr on this roster was leaving. Horton can get big money from an SEC school. It's the reality of NIL
