and I won't shed a single tear for those f******. I went through **** near 3 years of those ***** chirping about Shapiro and rubbing it in at every given chance. It would be befitting if their best season ever is ruined with **** leaving in handcuffs lulz. No National Title, no Heisman Trophy. Could not happen to a more deserving bunch of fans. It would torment their souls forever knowing what could have been.

**fingers crossed**

Agreed but only if the truth comes out. I am all for guilty people being punished. We have a system in place that is supposed to punish people for commiting crimes regardless of who they are and what kind of revenue they bring in. If he is guilty of this terrible crime, he needs to pay and the University should suffer. Especially if they helped cover it up.

We will see what happens at 2pm.

There is too much cover up going on for him to be innocent.

There is zero chance that any charges are presented, ZERO. The presser today is nothing but a Heisman campaign.

Yea because they really hold press conferences to announce there pressing charges on a rape...

It's a sad state if affairs if they hold a press conference just to say they're not pressing charges. Not that it would surprise me.
I am surprised that there hasn't been more talk about the cover up.
I don't imagine there's a lot of productivity taking place in tally today.

Hope the truth comes out - for better or for worse. That's all anyone can or should really hope for.

I'd be extremely surprised if any charges were filed against Winston, personally.

FSU as an institution may be another story, but I doubt we'll get any news on that today - regardless of the news at 2pm.

They will not only say thre won't be charges, they will have a script 100% exonerating him, worthy for ESPN Heisman hype soundbytes.

This is a stage for his Heisman, nothing more.

I can just hear it now, "...and we applaud him in his ability to stay focused with such heinous accusations swirling around him, a true champion and leader"

For this particular case, I'm indifferent on justice being served. I just want Jameis in handcuffs and FSU fans in tears.

On the contrary, Valid, what you describe is the definition of "Justice". Breathing should be illegal if Winston and FSU fans do it.

The rape or sexual assault of women in this country is no longer something that requires immediate action. A father or family member should have handled this by now.

Holy ****!

I'm hearing multiple counts. Several more victims have come forward. They are throwing around the term "serial rapist".

JW's whereabouts are currently unknown.

There's a report that he was spotted at a truckstop in Mobile, AL.

My guess is the DA will rip the Trailerhassee PD and their handling of the case. Winston skates.

I don't want to wish bad on anyone. The thing that I hope happens, is the DA comes out and is focused on the truth. IF he raped that girl, then he needs to go to trial. If he did not and she is lying, he is ok. That's the only thing I root for in these types of cases, the truth.

My friend writes for FSU's paper and it seems like there is maybe a 5% chance that Winston gets any punishment whatsoever. Everyone seems to be under the impression that he's getting cleared. Football aside, I just hope they reach the right verdict. I would hate more than anything to see him walk free if he really did commit the crime of sexual assault on that girl. As a whole, I really hate this story so much and it sucks because their are to conclusions 1) the girl faked it for whatever reason (to gain attention, get back at Winston, to just to tarnish a football player's reputation etc..) 2) he DID rape the girl and he walks away unscathed and that scars her for the rest go her life. It's really a lose-lose and I don't think this a story to get excited about in any context. I just hope justice is served, no matter if that calls for us to play against jameis in the future.

I would love to see FSU lose Jameis for the remaining games of this season, but there are bigger issues at play here. I just hope that the State Attorney's office and Tallahassee Police haven't fudged this case due to the pressure from the outside. If Jameis did what he is alleged, then I hope the correct ruling is applied.

State Attorney Willie Meggs was born in Tallahassee, went to HS in Tallahassee, went to Tallahassee Community College, graduated from FSU, graduated from FSU Law School, worked for Tallahassee PD, worked for Leon County Sheriffs, and goes to church in Tallahassee.

Winston skates.
