High schools with the most NFL players

One would have to expect some impact on south Florida football with everything going on economically down here.

I'm just happy we have a staff that actually seems to care about recruiting at the powerhouse programs again. I understand peoples' feelings get hurt when a Tyson Campbell goes to Georgia but you can't just throw the towel in on getting kids from Heritage or STA because of "divas".

We had a room full of 5'10" linebackers lmfao and 280lbs defensive tackles and offensive linemen that struggled to get to three bills. You could count the number of NFL quality athletes on two hands for about a decade. We had outcasts from SUNY-Buffalo and guys about to retire walk on campus and they were just immediately better than anyone we had in a position group without even warming up.

Bruh.

Osborn is the best offensive player that got drafted in years too

We get a thread like this every year. Unfortunately we haven’t done anything with all this South Florida talent in over 20 years. Ribeye steaks on the menu but unfortunately we aren’t eating them! We’ve gone vegan.

I'm curious, but when they say American Heritage, does that include Plantation (the premier program of the two) and Delray?

Plantation. I don't believe the Delray school is related.

Take IMG out that’s still four in the top ten. I want to recruit nationally as well but to deny the talent in south Florida is just disingenuous.

True.
But to be fair, many of our coaches have ignored or under-recruited some of the local talent, especially some of the kids who didn't have many stars affixed to their names.

Northwestern and Central are hood schools that never even started recruiting out of their attendance boundary until the last 4-5 years..... that's the impressive part

And they split kids AS IS within their boundary with each other.

All the BIG DOG SCHOOLS or public schools from these other states.....the surrounding schools will likely be sh*tty.

The sh*ttiest nearby school to Central and MNW was Miami Jackson who went 7-3 last year made the playoffs and sent a few kids div 1. lol

I'd love to see the star ratings of the kids in the 5 FL schools (really 4 + IMG). Wonder how many were under-the-radar...

I still remember when Amari Cooper, who was a heavy lean to us because of his relationship with Barrow, chose Bama instead. If you believe Luke Campbell, it was due to the fact it would have scared off Herb Waters, which makes no sense to me. But what really ****ed me off at the time was that a lot of the Golden apologists then said he wasn't a huge loss. You just don't let kids like that get our of your back yard.

What would be interesting to see is where all those kids would've gone if it had been tied to where they live. Basically that would eliminate the private school and IMG, I don't consider that a FL school at all.
