Those are my two preferred threads for amusement to go with the morning coffee

I was going to go the other direction and unstick the Gator Tears thread (and all the other sticky threads). Sticky threads don’t get many hits and the Tears threads hits went down after we stuck it.

Maybe we can do a separate forum but those threads have done the best as free-standing threads. I’ll leave it here for discussion before I do it but I’m leaning that way.

Don't Gator Tears and Nole Tears have (by far) more posts and views than any threads in the CIS pantheon?

Wouldn't it be great to have one quick access point where the UM Fans relentlessly and unmercifully mock and show disdain for our two in-state enemies?

Let's be honest here: Hating our opponents is literally the only thing CIS Nation can agree upon

It’s better as free-standing because it jumps to the top when there’s a lot of activity. When it’s stuck at the top it’s sometimes hard to know when the thread is poppin

Is there a way to “favorite” a thread for a user?

I see the OPs point but you’re right when things are stickied it’s almost like they don’t exist because the eye naturally goes right to the forum part.

I know less than zero about the logistics or challenges or those things, but GT and NT have a combined 110K posts and 13M views and that's while being "relegated" to the recruiting board (which I love, too). I'm pretty sure I'm not the only Canes fan who hates FSU and UF almost as much as I love the Canes.

It'd be great if there was place to locate both without having to scan a bunch of other threads.

Anyway, appreciate all the work you and RVA do here. CIS is the best.

I think if there’s a Tears forum and they are left in there unpinned with all Tears threads, we can alleviate the concerns of all. They won’t be buried in recruiting updates knocking them down pages and they won’t be stickied and ignored.
