Here comes Bogle on NBC

And then I'll start asking more why Banda was retained. Because I keep hearing about Banda and Stevenson's great relationship.

relationship or not, one team went 7-6 and lost their DC right before his decision and the other went 11-3 (was 11-2 prior to) and played in another NY6

Run the sport? I thought you said ruin the sport. Actually, that's what I think is happening.

The prices on the championship game have started to fall. StubHub and other resellers have had to drop their prices significantly. Football is King in Dixie, but there's much less interest in the Bay Area.

If the dominance of two, maybe three, teams continues, people will start to lose interest. People will not want to watch Bama and Clemson take everything. The other colleges and maybe even ESPN will feel pressure to in turn press the NCAA to start looking into the unfair advantages possessed by these teams. That might even include looking into cheating and bags.

This monopoly by two, really one, team will threaten interest in college football throughout the country.

Completely agree, it’s awful for the sport long term, there’s less parity now than there was 20 years ago. Saban will retire soon hopefully, but yeah they run and are ruining the sport

Baga scheme is not kind to edge rushers. Tim Williams was a part-time player there. Besides him they've had a bunch of stocky run stuffers. Bogle could've helped Miami but I don't see the bend or power/bulk that would indicate a can't miss prospect. He's an undersized angular edge rusher. Kick rocks.

Stevenson is a gamechanger. No sugarcoating that one if he's out.

Bogle would've been quality depth. I think Harvey's the higher end prospect compared to Bogle. But having Bogle would've been nice.

Stevenson's the one that's going to hurt really bad.

That's very true. But again, you need to start landing these kids. Why is a program like Tennessee able to get away with so much losing, yet keep posting horrendous results?

We need elite recruiters. Clemson was dogsh*t then Dabo brought out the bags, recruiting got better, they started winning, recruiting got even better. That is how it works. We need shut down recruiters....give me Jeff as OC. Give me Seider. Give me Trooper. **** i'll take Kellen Winslow and his cellmate for TE....just recruiters please.

You idiots think with having the season we did and losing our head coach that we were going to finish in better shape. We hired a new **** coach at the beginning of January.

Diaz has been the coach for a whole week.

Additionally, these kids had their minds made up before diaz was even hired.

This year's finish is going to be bad. This isn't even a transition year for Christ sakes. We hired a coach a month before sigining day.

With all of the above considered, we still aren't going to beat bama and Clemson for recruits. Not until we start making the playoffs. It is what it is. No amount of elite recruiters will change that.

Baga is a well-oiled machine. Saban retiring won't make much difference. Their DB play might fall off a bit but that's about it.

Lol. 5* kids look to get paid. We don’t get them. Only as the exception, never the rule. Even our championship teams, maybe we got 2 AA kids or 5 stars in a year, no more. And that was 30 years ago. The $ big state schools toss around makes us even worse now. Miami has to be lean and mean. Roster full of 3 and 4 star kids that outwork everyone else with an innovative coaching staff. Maybe you get one or two 5* kids that have a hard on for Miami or want to stay home. We are never, ever going to out 5* star teams.

Coach Kool slapped Jess around this class, lost Braylen Ingraham, Kelvin Harris & Khris Bogle all to Bama, Justin Eboige too.

As a team we also lost Evan Neal, Trey Sanders & Jordan Battle to Bama as well lol

Bama's top CB's in there class are all from Texas & Mississippi, they also have 3 kids from Maryland in there class too, they just take whoever they want.

How can you lose what you never had, the gravy train line is stacked!

Kool recruits off resume alone. Even if Simpson is a beast, it’s hard for him to do much when he’s still making a name for himself.

That's not true, when coach kool was here, basically no recruits, he goes to bama, now all of a sudden he can recruit, lol, do you really believe that!

thank you. meanwhile bamas putting kids int he league in the first two rounds like its a rite of passage. whether or not theyre actually good in the pros doesn't matter

Thank u. It’s mathematics bro. We ain’t producing the goods. Parents wanna see their baby, their “investment” come to fruition. We used to be the right of passage. Then it was USC. Then UF. Now it’s Bama and Clemson and they gotta strangle hold. Richt was supposed to finally bring stabilization and all he was good for was chitting in his diapers.

This is where D and I differ. From his context, he thinks that poor recruiting is the root cause of our losing; I think it's a symptom. You can't do what Richt does and expect to land the guys we're losing out. If we put a quality product on the field, we land more of these guys. Sure, another 10/11 win season still would result in a guy like Jordan Battle going to Bama. We're not going to keep all of the elite guys home unless we had a Bama-like run. But Bogle and Stevenson would be Canes if we hadn't crapped the bed this year.

Having said that, that's not to say that our recruiting philosophy has been perfect. It's been anything but perfect.

Exactly. Our recruiting has been out of wack in general. But the god-awful on field production has been the main cause

You get it, i keep saying it, im not worried about who dont sign, its about who does!

The problem is we aren't getting enough of the next tier kids. In part because we are shooting for the moon on kids that we are very unlikely to get.

Bogle has been a follower since day one imo...Even to the point where I really think picking the school he wanted to attend and playing out of position.

It's like kids once the momentum starts building kids say, "no one else is going to UM, there's no way I can go"

Bama insiders had him going to UM for god's sake.

Unless we start playing trash defense, im not worried, 4-3 scheme is back, and we letting our athlete's again on defense, so we'll get the guys we need, to many balla's here not to. Those so called big name guys being annointed by recruiting sites, we aiight on defense and will be in the future.
