Predicted '4 or 5' wins this morning on Joe Rose' show. :quag:

The good news is he sounded really out of touch about the roster.

He also said his FSU national champ pick was on a whim and really left himself a lot of outs in case they flop.

I really don't get the FSU hype. Weren't people saying the same thing about them last year (i.e., the Seminoles are back!!!111). Fool me once...

^^ He mentioned Golden's name twice. And said that looking over the Canes offense there wasn't many names that were immediately recognizable. Spent more time talking about the NCAA situation and the snail like pace in which it's proceeding.
 
until we're relevant why should they know our roster/coaches? i think they learned from their mistake from the jacory/Terrelle Pyror buildup
 
All he knows is that we lost alot of perceived 'talented' guys to the NFL and have replaced them with a bunch of 'unknowns'. This is what the media thinks...and the reason we are getting no love.
 
dont blame herbie ( in my musburger voice)....all media outlets look at one number returning studs...we are 120th of of 120 teams returning players that were our offense last year. In their eyes we lost 95% of our offense, they dont see Mike James as a runner, they dont trust Stephen Morris Duke who etc....I cant blame them on paper but what they dont do is research and see our strength numbers, team unity, returning coaches etc.....until we win Sat do anyone of us really think REALLY THINK we are a 6+ win team....I am an optimist and say yes but until 7pm sat I hold judgement.

Can't blame him. He's believed the Green Tree hype and reports of flyin' around for too long. Buyer's remorse. He is right.
 
why should anyone pick us to do better if they do not know anything about the new roster and the improvements in conditioning etc.?

****, give the uncertainties and the large turnover of players no one here knows how we are going to do until Saturday. That will tell us where we are, what we have improved on and what we can expect for the balance of the year.

We will all know come Saturday. The only person on the team he could name was Stephen Morris. But we know that our team is better than 5 wins.
 
None of this disrespect bothers me at all. Does anyone really need to be convinced that the talking heads talk because they are paid to say something. Since when did any of them have any real insight?

Just win. Nothing else matters.
