Henry Miller New Db Target

So he might go to OSU b/c shiano was a coach of the bucs a few years ago? Huh? So if Joe philbin goes to work at a college outside south Florida we should be worried b/c he used to be a Dolphins coach?

A Pittsburgh commitment, Miller had several coaches converge on him the same time late last week. Ohio State coordinator Greg Schiano set up to visit Miller at the school, but Banda showed up at the same time. They took turns talking to him. Then, as Schiano was leaving and Banda was finishing up with Miller, Pittsburgh DC Josh Conklin arrived.

Conklin, according to Miller's coach, didn't realize the cornerback was entertaining other schools. With Banda also beginning to leave all three coaches were at the school at the same time at one point.

"It just kind of happened," Roberts said. "They kind of came in and both of them were there and then the coach from Pitt came, so it was kind of awkward, man.

"The Pitt coach saw both those guys on campus so it was kind of awkward because they didn't know anyone was recruiting him."

Gotta love the balls on Banda in this recruiting situation. i have a feeling this dude might be legit on the recruiting trail. Also, according to that same article "tomorrow Schiano is expected to be back at the school with Urban Meyer."

Urban making it a point to remedy the situation by sending Schiano back the next day AND coming down himself is telling. This guy has Narduzzi, Urban and Schiano on him hard. That's saying something

Certainly seems that the new staff didn't think the previous staff was recruting enough DB's.

Yeah, seems like they are dead set on a couple of these big guys that could be a boundary corner or move back to safety, and in order to get 2 or 3 they are casting a wide net. Shocking what a staff with an actual plan looks like.

Agree. If Schiano called the top dog and told him he needs to be on the next leer jet down to Kississimee this kid must be no joke. I too wonder about that 4.7 speed. Wish it were a little faster.

If he is 4.7 then everyone in those Florida high schools are running 5.1.

Kid is good and we need a few kids who can match up with the bigger WR's that are running fade routes all day on a short kid like young or Wiggins.

It is just shocking how many good football players there are in Florida if this kid falls through the cracks. Would be Nebraska's Gatoraide all American.

If the size is legit and he can flip his hips, the question to me becomes "in our S&C program can we get it from a 4.7 down to a 4.5?"

If the answer is yes, pull the trigger.

4.7 for a safety isnt bad. Get it down to a 4.6 and thats prime for the position. A 4.4 forty goes to waste at the safety position.

He looks plenty fast in his film. Beats angles and shows a good burst. I think he could get his time down in the 4.55 range as well. Not bad for a big corner. If he is a 4.7 guy, then play him at S. I think he's a take regardless.

You guys make me laugh...4.7 40 at 6'3 is FAST in high school. Jamal Carter barely runs a 4.7 now. Dallas ran a 4.9 last year. The walk on Doritos special that started ran in the 5s.

Jenkins is the best on the team, he has no business wearing 26 though. There's a reason CMR is recruiting a new Safety everyday!!! This kid I'm not so sure about compared to others but a better take than James.

I wonder if all these people talking how bad a 4.7 forty is realize Jerry rice ran 4.68 and is the best we in history

f Jerry Rice...Jaiquawn Jarrett ran a 4.7 **** it....

**** we have lowered the standards here... lol at posting about Crawford and company like they are legit miami safeties.

This kid really intrigues me as a prospect. I would say he is about a 4.7 40 but he's also very fluid and athletic. I could see him getting into the high 4.5 range maybe low 4.6 and be a really good pro prospect if coached right.

He actually reminds me of Jamel Cook a little with the build and everything. We need this kid. If he filled out his frame.. his ceiling is really high. He could play safety or corner imo, I'd rather have him at safety though.

This kid with Romeo Finley and Ced Wright at safety.. Byrd, Malek Young, and 1 more CB would be a great DB class.

hopefully we pull this kid. kinda late in the progress but narduzzi knows what he's doing with defensive recruits and this would be a solid pull with our depth

He said he never expected to have UM as an option. Did not like anyone on the previous staff, yet he likes this staff. It's going to be a tough decision, never thought he'd be in this situation.

Cane imo

So depressing what we've had to go through.

'Come on down to UM. Be corched by Paul Williams and play in a Mark D'Onofrio defense.
