so those of you with the

"most talented player always plays" vs "hardest working"

well here is your proof.

1st pic is what happens when you let the kids self ego dictate how he is going to practice

2nd pic is when you tell him in order for him to play for this team he has to work just as hard as the next guy

good coaching right there

If he's fully focused and committed (looks like he is) he's gonna make himself a lot of money this season.

Golden has sucked the sunshine out of him! We back!

before the previous regime i used to rate recruiting 90% of the success of a program. ive learned in the last 8 years that its about 60% recruiting 40% development

Kid is playing for that 1st round money, he gonna get it after it. Love how he bought in to the program and can be used as an example of how sticking it out can be a huge benefit.

We need this to be the consistent message. We will be able to develop players, have depth and experience, and these guys will be drafted earlier and get a reasonable bonus. Face t, most players never get that lucrative 2nd contract.

That is an unbelievable transformation. But in all honesty, that's the basic difference between a fresh/soph and a 4th/5th year O-lineman in a good program.

I am more and more quietly optimistic about this year.

He's finally healthy and had an offseason to put in work... I'm happy for him... He really worked hard and did not allow the offseason of his sophomore and junior years to discourage him...

I had to look at the pictures and read the thread twice to actually realize that was him. Wow... Looking like a different person.

Funny thing about Seantrel, is that when he had the 400lb doughboy body he still had more innate talent than pretty much any tackle in college.
Now you match his extraordinary footwork, long long arms and elite balance and leverage with the physique of a top NFL tackle and you end up with what we have now: someone who's going to be stonewalling defensive ends up until he shakes the commish's hand.
