I don't know how many more ways to put this before people start to see what is so obvious. Finally, the day our recruiting pitch to a kid is "you are a better Lawrence Cager", we seriously just need to call the power company and tell them to close the account, cause we out of business.

Lincoln Riley says "I just won the Heisman my first two years as a HC with two different QB's", and Richt's come back is, "you could be just like Lawrence Cager, only better". Fvck us all...

Yeah...but if Miami doesn’t have a bag game, and isn’t respected, how does using Miami drive up the price? Wouldn’t a recruit be better served playing teams with bags against each other?

Yeah he just figured it out last week. His dad who’s an alum maybe never watches any ou games at all or never even mentioned it to him. I’m sure no one on the OU staff managed to sneak that little irrelevant tid bit into their recruiting pitch.

Theoretically, yes. But realistically the bags are driven up just by the presumed threat of the kid going elsewhere. It's probably also less risky for the kid to have the "competition" be a no-bag school like Miami to guarantee that Uncle Leroy doesn't somehow scam a bag from the spurned school and possibly make things reallll messy and/or eventually public.
 
Y'all realize this kid's dad got real money, ain't no bags involved here, OU simply beat us out

This is the 3rd time I post this article on here.

The reason kids use Miami for bags is summed up in one of the most popular sites that covers the sec.
Every year we talk about what could’ve been on this board. But while we get upset about the kids that leave the rest of cfb exhales and thanks their lucky stars that they didn’t stay even if those kids didn’t go to their team. Just like we say “at least he didn’t go to FSU” a lot of people still say “ at least he didn’t stay at Miami”

Ok. Another bombshell on this one. One of the UGA writers forRivals just posted an update on the Miami site. Seems that UGA is not out. He said that there is a family divide and UGA asked Haselwood NOT to send in his LOI. They believe he did not. It seems that Jadon is leaning towards OU but UGA believes it’s not over. Miami is out.

This guy is one of the more credible Georgia people supposedly. FWIW

in this situation we had two problems, the confusion with jarren because jarren was probably his main contact at um AND richt selling Jon as the play caller next year.
