They tried him as a co-oc in title but day still called the plays. Then they brought in chip and left no doubt as to what was going on. I watched all the playoff games. He was always standing off to the side alone while the offense was huddling. He isn’t a coordinator. And elite position coach tho

Miami should just start an offer to him at $2M a year and then increase it until he says yes.

If true, he'd have to be self-hating to become an OC. I'm sure as the #1 WR coach in America, he makes a livable wage. But, sometimes ambition gets the better of us.

Is it official? Their 247 guy put up a list of “possibilities”. Hartline as “OC” with Day still calling plays was one option. Hartline as co OC with the possible OL coach was another. There was no option” where Hartline called plays. The mod did say they might tell Hartline he would work into being the play caller.
