Hartley in Cali

Hartley is arguably our best recruiter. Pride can't stand in the way. I bet it's either a QB - maybe Dj Daniel- Isn't he the kid who played with Haselwood?

Or Steele. Been seeing Miami linked with him again in a few articles. Somewhat surprised but who knows.
Exactly. They sent the big gun out there to get someone they think they need to make up a lot of ground on quickly.

These dopes act like Rick is intentionally trying to destroy the program. It’s almost unreadable around here due to the constant repetition of “ yeah but Rick sucks”.

It is. Every time I look there's another thread like that. One week of wallowing should be enough. Time to look forward POSITIVELY and support this team for next game. I believe CMR and the staff will have a solid game plan and the team ready to go on Friday.

Dugans is our best recruiter. But Hartley is a close 2nd.

Amazing we keep thinking a qb is the answer! The blueprint of Canes success: depth in front 7 which highlighted nasty DTs, fast LBs, and solid DBs. Stable of RBs, elite WRs and skillful pass catching TEs. Kelly, Kosar, and Dorsey were excellent leaders but benefited from surrounding talent and coaching staff. Dorsey and Kosar would look awful playing with this OL and play calling. Vinny will be leading college football in INTs! Diaz is building and Richt is slowly recruiting solid OLs. My only wish is Richt and offensive staff pick the brains of Kelly and Kosar during off season to change scheme and effectively teach QBs how to read coverage and throw receivers open. Overall I like the direction of the program but needs talent players with advance football IQ!

We haven't recruited California well other than DJ Johnson. Still think he's a fool for transferring. He would've played a lot this year and had the opportunity to start in 2019.

The fact we lost Elliot Baker to Bama in 2017 yet he's not even in the 2-deep 2 years into being at Bama is ridiculous.

QB is a part of any answer.

We need to recruit one this cycle, and, frankly every recruiting cycle otherwise we can be in a world of hurt.

Alison left because he didn't have it between the earholes and Shirreffs left because he couldn't compete here.

It's not unlikely that there could be further attrition before next season begins - and there, at this point would be only 3 QBs on the roster for next season.

The reason many folks in this thread are happy is because they're hoping that we're targeting a QB from out there - one of the best areas in the country to go for a QB.

It’s the most important position in sports. So, yeah, we need to get a great one.

Hartley and Chise kick butt!

Right! Go find a great one who would be able to hide weaknesses of OL and play calling! LOL. Peyton Manning could not win championship for Tennessee. I agree an upgrade at qb would help, but I rather see better coaching and scheme to utilize the talent at the skill positions.

You’re right. We should stop recruiting QBs because you think our OL sucks and our coach is garbage. Makes sense. You’re right.

Why not go get it from the man who taught them Gary Stevens

Also said he went about Special Teams ....
Don't need a good punter if you have a great QB that gets points on the board every drive
