Dude is slow as **** too

You do know we need possession guys too right?

Possession we is like saying he's high motor

We don't need slowness when we were elite we had elite speed at wr. Possession wr means u suk

You're basing this off your interpretation that a bad 40 time automatically makes you a slow receiver who's unable to get open. On most routes its so much more about technique than speed.

He was barely open in his if he can't seperate there he won't at this level

You don't average 30YPC as a junior if you're not getting open.

That's true to an extent. But there's still a minimum speed level you need at WR even if you're strong and run great routes. I think 4.9 disqualifies you pretty much. There are OL who run 4.9.

No doubt but 1 recorded 40 time from February 2015 shouldn't disqualify him.

That number gets higher as the days go by. I thought it was 20..

Basically any relevant player in south Florida is on that list and he's tied for the slowest skill position player on the entire list. The more I see the less I want the kid. I was high as **** on him literally 3 days ago

Lot's of kids are skipping the 40 now because of reactions like this. Bandy was at the same event and chose not to run. Only 1 ******* kid ran under a 4.5. I can't believe how many people on this board think HS kids running true sub 4.6 grow on trees.

I know how rare it is I work at a facility ran by a former NFL linebacker that does speed, agility, and explosion training for athletes. I deal more with HS kids (I'm in Tennessee so there's not nearly as much speed) and our fastest guy is a 4.5-4.55 guy. He trains 2 NFL DBs in the offseason that are 4.45 on their best runs and average high 4.4s

At the same time... my slowest football player at a skill position is a 16 year old WR running in the 4.8s. We have a $1400 laser time system too so it's accurate too.

That's REALLY slow though. I know an 8th grader who is 5'4 and about 100 pounds who would blow that time out of the water.
