It’s not that he’s asleep at the wheel it’s that the jig is officially up and has been since the UVA game. The parents and kids can see the writing on the wall. He's a dead man walking.

So we all knew grades were an issue so this shouldn't be a surprise. What's the difference if he signs today or in two months? It's not like he's an EE, right? Why would it matter?

The concern is obviously that if he sees that he isn't going to qualify for Miami that he just looks into another school that he can sign with that he can get into instantly. If he signs today that means he's locked in with Miami and if he doesn't qualify he has to end up at a prep or JUCO.

Both his teammates Keontra Smith and Te'Cory Couch have sent in their letters, but Williams has not. I'm told there there is a chance he pushes back to Feb. Could be because of his grades. Working to learn more.

10:30 am Update: Williams will not sign with UM today. He plans to take other visits and sign in Feb.

He needs to visit the school library an get his grades fixed.

This is he worst coaching job I've ever seen in one year in my entire life from a hype versus results point of view. I honestly feel like banners game 1 would be acceptable at this point.

This is bad. If it is grades, the staff should've known about it as I'm sure they have access to his transcripts. If we only sign Harvey as a DE, that's a flat out grade of an F at the position. Bogle may or may not be going to Bama. Where's the other targets at DE? It looks like we're going to be scouring the GT/JUCO market heavily at DE this cycle.
