Have to admit, this kid looks pretty darn good. Nice speed and athleticism. Could live without the Desean Jackson showboating/laziness stupidity though.

Can't overlook kids just because they're playing for a small school. At one time Reshawn Scott was a Big Fish swimming in a small pond too.

Agree , Scott was an absolute monster though, and ran really well. It's hard to evaluate kids against back competition , but RS blew me away

I played against Reggie Mcgrew in HS, small 1a school. He ended up having a good career at UF, same HS Jamal Reid went to

Bad comp? Hamp ran all over Newberry and they have 2 top DT's on that team comitted to FSU.
He went head to head with Tyler King and ran for over 200 yds.

True. I remember someone affiliated with Reshawn came on the board right before we offered to give us a heads up and asked for people to post UM related videos that he could show RS to help him seal the deal. When his highlights were posted it was obvious, to just about everyone, that RS had Big Time D-1 potential..

New berry ? Lmao!!!

That's the competition standard? 6-4 new berry ?

The 2a team who majority of the six wins were against tiny 1 a schools, with super small kids. Schools that didn't even belong on the field with a 2a school.

Thanks for the laugh, I actually texted that to some friends.

Kids at this level have to be dominate, not just with production. Physically too.

Kids who have the size and athletic ability that leaves little question they can hold up against real competition .

I've seen this kid in person , he looks a buck thirty five. Super skinny, he's a good athlete though . I'll give him that.

His offer just kinda makes my point .

Just got word that Rumph might be offering this kid. Inquired for his high school coaches number. This might be a surprise addition tomorrow.

Heard Marshall didn't have room for him and that he was going to sign with BC. If we offer, he's coming. Good player but not Miami material IMO. I'm sure we are in scramble mode now, big Eff you to Tyler Byrd for this nonsense. Save us Shyheim. (I know, unlikely)

LOL Marshal didn't have room. Marshal was holding there final spot for him.
OU had him on hold in case there big target didn't commit.
Boston College is the spot but if UM offers he will commit as soon as they say the words

Does anyone really know how star system work or does everyone just see the stars and become star whores? Kids get stars based off what colleges offer them, not based off their talent. If a kid doesn't run to all the camps or school camps he doesn't get offered meaning he won't get the stars.

We need another corner. No reason not to grab another kid if he's around late and has legit D1 offers. We have a lot of room on the roster right now, this isn't taking up spots.

That's what I heard Coach or Mr. Cheevers, whoever you are. They didn't have room until the Juco receiver flipped to Arizona. Saw he signed with BC as I stated. Wasn't knocking the kid, Marshall`s class ended up ranked about 15 spots above BC so they will be ok. Congrats though, regardless of who it is, the ACC is a good look for him.
