That loss is what told me, and luckily as you're saying apparently the people that matter also, that absolutely nothing at that point had changed or was going to get better as is. It was such a kick in the balls more so than just losing.

I just have to laugh and don't even get mad anymore when some of the mopes on here whine and cast doubt on Mario when we lose out on this kid or that kid. They don't get it. They don't understand the relentless energy with which Mario recruits, the talent of the staff he's put together, or the effectiveness of the system he's putting in place. And that doesn't even begin to figure in Ruiz/NIL, wherein we're actually now in the game with guys who would have never looked our way no matter who the coach was. Seriously, tune the mopes out. Mario is building a monster, and if it takes a cycle to be top 5, then deal with it, because that's gonna be a perennial thing. And for the record, this very first full year class for '23 will be really f'n good too.

Mario will have us in the top 10 every year. He will do this easily.

Basically….and it’s not that I think he is a done deal to UF or anything close to that. I just think he is arguably the best player in the country in an extremely unfriendly UM territory. Would love to be wrong, obviously.

Fawk a top 10. We’ll be pushing for top 3 classes in the next few years.. I said wheb he was hired Mario is our Kirby smart. He’s gonna recruit us out of mediocrity. We will be in contention for the ACC every year. Don’t mess around and give him his $100m football facility…

Wait a minute. We have a CFA on Flagler Street and another in Hialeah. Maybe we can get @Chick-fil-A FranchiseeX2 to come on board and put one in the Gables along US-1. That would be 3.
