Guys, I don't know why everyone is so upset...

VTech is going to get in. UNC beats Duke the last game of year.

Absolutely amazing we haven't won this **** conference since we moved to the ACC. Pretty sobering to know we haven't been relevant in over 10 years.

F the conference. We haven't even made the ACC Championship game!

Call me stupid but I dont wanna go to the acccg and lose to fsu already with 3 losses. It would've been fine with 1 loss or 2 losses but we just need to be 10-3 with a bowl victory to show to the recruits

That game would have been a huge revenue generator for the university. Seeing on how much the athletic department lost in financials in 2 previous bowls and the ACCCG the previous year, everyone fully expected to go this year and we needed that part.

I am not in the know of any of the financials, but from the outside looking in and the U being a private institution; it actually has to be a huge game changer not going to that extra game.

VT wins it all as Winston gets charged then suspended and FSU is down to their third string QB.

FSU is headed for the epic fall from grace!

I really doubt the revenue from the ACCCG offsets the expense. Unless the ACC foots some of the bill.

oh, TV and other portion is quite large. There has been much made of it when the COI passed down and considered that when we sat out last years. It is in the millions for sure.

The ACC splits revenue. Participating in the ACCCG last year wouldn't have meant anything financially.

Well I don't see us winning the coastal division until 2015 anyway, UNC still has to win it before we finally get our chance. By my calculation, every other school has won the coastal division except UNC, we will not be in Charlotte before EVERYONE else gets their shot.

If Duke loses to UNC and VT loses to Virginia, you can take it to the bank we will lose to Pitt.

So basically after hoping we win against UVA and Pitt we need to watch VTech and Duke both play on November 30th to see if we make it to the ACCCG. Jesus this is sad.

What's even crazier is we won a basketball championship before we did football.

We are NOT going to the ACCCG. We will be at home watching the noles ars rape someone from the weak coastal. Also we are going to the potato bowl, or maybe the south beach bowl

No ****, it was a joke, and meant to mock our current pathetic situation.

As for the ACCG, I'm expecting Duke to lose to UNC, who is actually playing good football right now, and will likely finish 7-5, 5-3 after starting 1-5. I think the ACCG is going to be VT-FSU and while VT's defense is the best defense FSU will face all year, FSU will still be able to put points on them, and VT's offense will help FSU score too. FSU wins that game 38-0 or 42-0.

I will kill myself if Georgia Tech goes to the ACCG by the way.

If this scenario happens that Paul Johnson ************ is one lucky dude.

Really? You dnt know why everyone is upset? How about that we basically had the ACC Coastal locked? How about making qb look like they are Heisman, when they arent? How about losing to Duke? How about the fact that DUKE (football) scored over 40+ points on Miami for the 2nd consecutive year?

Seriously? Didn't pick up on one ounce of sarcasm in the post? Did you even bother to read the rest of the thread? Like 5 or so posts later, where I clearly state it was a joke?
