Pick your poison. Line drive punts with 2 second hang times, or consistently shanked punts and the opposing team starting virtually every drive at the 50 or worse. I’ll have to think about this.

Only problem is with those line drive punts they where still starting at the 50.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Feagels starting again this weekend. While Spicer is not shanking as many punts his hang times are killing us. I think that is the biggest reason you’ve seen our punt coverage team look so bad the last two weeks, the line drive punts.

Granted there has been some bad punt coverage.

Look who missed tackles on both long returns, Bobby Knowles. I agree hang time is an issue but we need to make the tackles that are there.

One of them was rolling and they had plenty of time for the coverage team. That wasn't Spicer's fault.

It was rolling because it was a low-hanging end over end punt. Yes, that is on Spicer. Sure, the cover team could have and should have done their job, but that doesn't change the fact the punt sucked as always and helped the return.

I'm gonna be honest. I got pretty heated, drank more than I have in years. I still watched every play. I thought I remembered it being a very good kick on the one they housed. I didn't rewatch. Anyone have the clip? For now, I'll concede.

LOL Fair enough. I too was ****ed and a bit blurred. But I do recall the commentator making a remark both times at how poor the punt was.

It wasn't a very good kick. It just wasn't as bad as the others.

If we can just find a way to give him decent blocking, I still think Feagles can put it together here. I was shocked at how many times FSU didn’t even bother to rush the punter last week.

At halftime he was also shanking a few of them as well.
