Gus Edwards

It was Rutgers, he did well all things considered with what was around him and more importantly blocking for him
Exactly.

Rutgers has only finished 128th or worse on Offense the last 5 straight years. For a fanbase so quick to blame our OL, you'd think it would be easy to see Rutgers is a little worse at OL.

Gus Edwards NFL success is just too big a concept for some to wrap their heads around.

Improper use of guys edwards by the coaching staff, they use to line him up to close to the line of scrimmage on short yardage situation, him not getting more playing time no matter how many backs we had was **** poor coaching, those penn disgrace morons held grudges, ***** em. What gus is doing is no surprise here, had it been yearby, it would be.

Because they all tried to say he was trash and had that south Florida bias going on and completely misjudged the situation

He’s been getting regular carries the last 3 seasons. He has one of the highest yards per carry for an nfl back in each of the last 3 years

True but what I was getting at more was just comparing the college careers of him and JK Dobbins.

JK was all over ESPN and Gus barely sniffed the field with us. Just a wild ride, very happy for him.

It's definitely been a crazy progression for Gus.

Gus had unfortunate circumstances at Miami. Got caught behind Duke early, got hurt when he was going to be the starter, then got screwed a bit by a coaching change.

He finally got some good fortune in Baltimore his rookie year. The impressive thing is the Ravens keep trying to replace Gus by signing Mark Ingram and drafting Justice Hill & JK Dobbins - but he just keeps on earning carries by playing at a high level.

He's definitely in place to get a nice 2nd contract - which he deserves.

Somebody is going to pay him a nice 2nd contract, he’s been one of the 3 most efficient runners in the league the last 3 years
