Gurvan and Jennings Gone

I feel like this is only the beginning. Many stays likely to see Brooks, TAC, and a couple freshmen next. Wish them well. Now UM do not give no other players that #26

Best of luck to both but im kinda bummed about Gurvan. Was one of my favorite recruits in recent years.

Man would take the tri rail from the raw and back to watch us practice when he was getting recruited while we had other targets who lived minutes away not care enough to show up.

Gurvan was serviceable. Got outperformed and hopefully makes the most of his next opportunity.

I don't want to turn another thread into a Manny-bashing thread. There are already enough. But how bad are practice evaluations if a guy goes from a day 1 starter and fixture on the D to the bench to the portal in less than a season? It's just bewildering to me.

*Edited to clarify that the evals that worry me are not from a recruiting perspective but from the fact he was penciled as a game 1 starter based on years of practice, games, etc. only to disappear from games entirely.
this is ALL that needs to be said about the entire staff.

Imagine yourself as a judge.

You have to know how many free throws some guy is likely to hit in a row. But, the only thing you can do is watch him make scrambled eggs.

That's been our practice --> game time relevance.
And who would be responsible for asking them to make scrambled eggs, versus attempting some FTs?

Not to disagree with you, but…

Since free throws are about consistency of repetitive movements… I think a strong argument cancan be made that more could be learned about free throw ability from watching some guy repeatedly make scrambled eggs than predicting game performance based upon football practice at the U.

Lol 🤦‍♂️

Can’t wait to watch Hall hit the wrong transfer portal.

Over time the misery of watching these guys miss tackles will fade, and this joke will live on. For that, and literally nothing else, thank you Gurvan. Probably worth a four year scholly to a private university. To me anyways.

As if the helicopter made it more of a chore to visit the kid. When Saban visits a kid on a unicycle that's when i'm impressed.
Man

This blew my mind right here

You’re absolutely right

If you only knew….

I can only imagine he was crying about Tae, JW and Kam...

I try and focus on JW multiple times during the plays because he is exciting... I did the same for Hall but it was more about waiting for him to F something up or to get a personal foul at the worst time.

I wonder if your hint at a young dude is about TAC... will have to wait and see.

There’s a lot of *** **** going on , especially when guys lose their spot. It’s crazy. This is our culture , these kids cant handle being benched since they’ve never been shown accountability. Then suddenly manny drops it on them in year 3 lol. And it’s more than just Hall.
