Guess we movin up

why should Mizzou jump us? They beat a team that is a shell of its former self that now has 3 losses last week and this week they beat a team that we already beat earlier in the year that is also now without several of its top players. Essentially they are going to have two wins in two weeks against teams that are no longer (or should no longer) be ranked. Not sure how that boosts you from unranked to top 10 in the country

How are Missouri's wins quality? UGA is horrible right now. The UGA team that Mizzou beat is bad. Like 6-6 or worse (if that was the team they started the season with). The Florida team they beat is not the same Florida team we beat. How are they more deserving of a higher ranking than Miami?

I have no issue if Mizzou jumps us, that's two quality wins in back to back weeks.

i am against that. we are undefeated and won.

They did too.

However, Stanford should not jump us for ****. Besides even if they don't rank MIZZ higher this week if Mizz goes on to beat USC then they will, without question be ranked in front of Miami.

I just don't see how these wins are going to propel them in front of other undefeated teams that are already in front of them. This will be the 3rd team they beat in a row who will be without significant players (looks like Shaw may be out) and have 3 losses this early in the season.

but they aren't even one spot behind us are they? its absurd to view them as having one slightly (maybe) better win and move them over us.

We haven't exactly had murders row of a schedule, I don't think either side has a major ***** over the other. I just think they have better wins than we do.

what better wins are those? the team that we also beat or the team that is now 4-3 and lost to probably the worst team in the SEC. Or is it wins over Murray State, Toledo, Ark State, or Vandy that really propel this team that far ahead of us.

I have to agree that Missouri has no business jumping us based on opponents. They beat a worse Florida team than we did. They beat a Georgia team who is down to their 3rd or 4th rb and maybe 5th WR as starters. At best our Florida win is better and GT should at least be equal or better then the win against Georgia.

With that said, they are a big 12 team who all of a sudden became elite because they joined the SEC so they will get hype and jump us anyway.

Over the weeks we've went from UR to top ten, that's just off one win over a very overrated UF team. I think the polls have been very generous to us. I really don't get the *****ing, especially with how sloppy we've been playing.

SEC bias. We've seen it for 5-6 years now.

They dont move ahead of us, regardless is they deserve it or not. The same reason we were behind Louisville before they lost Friday. Its a pecking order.

I doubt they jump off, but if they do it's because they are SEC.

Louisville is not in the SEC. Not even in the ACC yet!

Big INT by Stanford. TD for Stanford to Ice the game.

Canes moving up another spot.

Bad couple of days for LA sports.

In what world is GT better than UGA? They haven't beat them in forever.

I don't think he means head to head. I think he is saying both teams are 4-3 and Georgia is trending downward at a rapid pace so neither offer much of a boost to opponent's resumes. At this rate, GT will give UGA all they can handle this year. Luckily for UGA, they may get a few guys back by then since it is the last game of the season.
