GT Eric Singleton...

Those aren't arbitrarily numbers.

It's a consistent show of their Offensive productivity as it pertains to WR's.

UGA's WR's are not that productive in college because their system is not geared towards getting them the ball. That's not conjecture, it's an unadulterated fact backed by empirical data. Their WR's do not produce at a high rate in college & that has been the case since 2016.

Todd Monken has nothing to do with a WR in the Portal wanting to or not wanting to go Georgia, what is even the point in mentioning him if he's not Coaching there anymore? Sam Pittman? What does he have to do with WR production???

I'm not even going waste my time trying to argue anything else you're saying because there's actually nothing to argue.

Eric Singleton Jr, the #1 rated player currently in the Portal, had UGA on his list of potential transfer schools. He visited UGA & afterwards took them off his list.

Why? Because he wants to sign with a school where his production won't take a decline due to the system he's playing in. If that wasn't the case, based on everything you're claiming on behalf of UGA, there'd be no reason for him not to sign with them, but yet here we are...

Its unbelievable to me that defending ugas wr production would be the hill that a "Canes" fan would die on but here we are.
Maybe I'm just naive and defending uga is something that is a lot more common on Hurricane fan sites that I realized.

Right, they’re not arbitrary numbers. Really. And the coordinator has nothing to do with WR development and production. If it’s about potential production, then Singleton should be signed, sealed and delivered to Miami. Singleton knew the UGA offense when he visited, so likely more about money than the system.
Is Todd Monken the OC for UGA right now?

And if it's simply about money, then UGA should've been the favorites, they have more money than everybody in College Football.

CIS has been overrun with UGA lovers for a few years now.

That's why I go so hard with the #DeathToUGA movement. because I know it really unsettles them.

It’s always about the money - how much you have and what you’re willing to pay.

Ok, not a Georgia fan as a disclaimer, but worry about fellow Canes fans and orange-green glasses. Why would WR go to Georgia? Might also ask why would WR go to Miami?
One obvious reason is to get paid.
Can argue offense may not be central to UGA’s titles, but have recently developed and placed far more skill players in NFL than Miami has. RBs aren’t a crazy number, so won’t even go there.
QBs: Kaaya was the last drafted in 2017 (6th). Who was the last Cane to actually play in the league? Vinny?
Just in the last few years Georgia had Fromm (5th) - similar to our signee Nickle from Milton HS -Bennett (4th), likely Beck and at least identified and signed Fields.
WRs: Hard to pump chest over our current 3 - Dorsett (Atlanta’s practice roster), Berrios, who shops every year for a roster spot, and KJ Osborn, a portal pick up who was just released by the Patriots and signed off wire by Washington.
One of our geniuses miscounted suggesting Georgia had 2. Currently Pickens (1st), Conley (2nd), McConkey (2nd), Hartman (3rd). Also developed old pal Cager, who had a career season with Georgia and developed as TE in NFL. So, Miami will add another in X - Georgia has 3 likely to play in NFL in Smith, Lovett and Bell.
Arbitrarily throwing out numbers as some sort of measure is senseless. WRs aren’t just worried about having 50-60 receptions or 800-plus yards. It’s about getting to the league and now also collecting NIL. Getting to NFL is also helped by quality of the offensive coordinator. Monken is a star playcaller with Baltimore. Pittman before him did well enough to get the Arkansas job.
Again, the hope is Miami lands every top WR, but let’s not act like we have a long track record of developing offensive talent and Georgia is playing with leather helmets.
You do realize we have probably four pass catchers getting drafted this year and a top 5 pick in our QB right? Also, Pittman was never their play caller or even coached a WR at UGA. And I’ll bring up Colbie Young. What did he do prior to his arrest at UGA? His replacement in Horton took a major step this year. Sure UGA is pumping pros out, but let’s not act like Mario and this offensive staff did not erase a lot of the negatives around our offensive narrative in one season.

This thinking means he should go to LSU. Not UGA.

This genius typed all that B's for no reason

Thread is about wrs and we gotta read about Sam Pittman.

In the last 4 years they have placed 2 wrs I. The league which I stated not sure what Hardeman an all the other bums he named had to do with it.
Pickens and mcconkey with Pickens not being developed at all but them..

Mans stated a disclaimer he ain't a UGA fan then continued to post they developed Lawrence Cager. Just proving our point..they have won but Cager was like a 3 here and walked over there and became a top player because their wr production, development, evals have not been all that good for going on a decade because the position isn't a huge priority in their offense since their HC been there.

The unequivocally too recruiting program in college football has to go into the ortal yearly at wr to the point they were poaching Colbie Young's of the world a um development..had he not touched up his baby mother likely would be their top wr cause the other guys have not impressed much all year..Bell is ok I guess

Sorry, just about every top program is hunting the portal yearly for WRs, including the Bamas, Georgias, Oregons, Ole Miss, etc. If you had watched Georgia, Colby before his issue was hardly their top receiver. He was 4th WR used in red zone.
