We need Jordan Miller back next game
ScramWho's getting fired after this one?
We had been up until the ND game.If we had a 3 point specialist, we would be so good. I just don't get why Coach L doesn't focus on this in recruiting.
I didn't expect the slump to last this long. Perfect time to snap out of it would be up at WakeA win is a win. Stopping the bleeding. If they snap out of this shooting slump, they have a shot at stealing one against Wake.
Scram
Miami has had an awful shooting slump of late, but they've shot relatively well throughout the season. Wong, McGusty and Moore have all been pretty solid from deep, Sam has been a nice addition. Miami is 80th nationally in 3P%, that's not bad considering that there are 350 schools listed. If we had a 3 point specialist, we would be so good. He is a big part of the rotation. Hopefully he gets healed up for Saturday. We need Jordan Miller back next game
Related to the tired legs, Canes are usually notoriously disciplined for not aggressively seeking offensive rebounds on perimeter shots because Coach L wants them to get back ASAP. (...although sometimes Sam and others seem frozen just watching it arc...) Some other teams do this too, but when you Live-and-Die by the 3, and they don't drop, it's disaster...Miami's issue hasn't been hitting from deep for most of the season, that said, as the season wears on, I think Miami's lack of depth will continue to affect what gets made, because your legs are the first thing to go as you get tired.
That was a must win tonight.
A loss tonight would'f had a disastrous effect on the seaosn.

Don't you get tired of being corny? We have a winner.
Are you kidding? That's in the top 25%. There are 8 ACC teams worse than that.80th nationally is atrocious. We should be top 25 every year if we want a true chance at the tourney.

What? Please tell me you are joking. Being 80th nationally puts you in the top 25% or so nationally. That's more than enough to win the bulk of your games and find your way into the dance. If Miami has to be in the top 7% in this stat to have a chance at the tournament(As you are suggesting), then odds are, Miami will never get there.80th nationally is atrocious. It's not elite, but it's above average. Are you kidding? That's in the top 25%. There are 8 ACC teams worse than that.
80th nationally isn't anything special, but it's not bad.
I'm not sure you realize there are almost 360 teams.
It’s one of those awful personalities and delusions where a person thinks they’re the smartest in the room and everyone is laughing and nodding along with them. It’s an awful and tired act.Don't you get tired of being corny?
Yeah, Wake may be playing the best ball in the league right now. Why we HAD to beat GT.Nice bounce back but man they gotta clean up a lot b4 that trip to Wake
Agree. Hope Sam can replicate last night. Or, come close to it. Too often, he'll follow a top-flight shooting game with a weak one.Miami has had an awful shooting slump of late, but they've shot relatively well throughout the season.
